Do I need to buy the game, cant log in.

Hello all I can see form there official home page, that the game should be up now. But when i try to log in it say that I fail to conect to sever .

I cannot even save my player,something must be wrong.I can see a que for letting players in,but why the no save?

No.. you see you are connected in "offline mode". Yes.. The concept makes no sense.. yet it is a fact. Sometimes if the game cannot connect to the server you will be able to create a character and walk around.. but the world is empty (er) and the character won't save as you aren't really on the server.
I am not sure why they allow this and the last time I looked there was no notice/message telling you that you were in offline mode. This was arround since the first day of Beta A back in July..
Thats OK... I am actually able to connect.. but my character looted a backpack full of ore and became overloaded and can't move. Everytime I deleted a stack the game crashes with a NOWGAME.EXE error. i actually sat here and deleted everything 9and reloading after each time) but 5 stacks and could move. I excitedly ran to the banker... waited 4 minutes for him to actually load up... then tried to move my 5 stacks of ore into the bank. Nadda... nothing will move. I tried each stack.. waited a minute.. nothing. I logged out and back in.. waited for the banker again.. and now everytime I try and drag a stack to the banker I crash again.. with NOWGAME.EXE error..
The game is running around 49 FPS... but there are obviously severe serverside issues...

I've been trying all day to make a character but I get to the end of the character create and pick a name and surname but clicking "save" or "enter Game" does nothing. I've fully exited and tried several times with no luck, the buttons click but nothing changes. I can't tell if I'm in some sort of queue or the game just isn't responding.
This feels more like an alpha then a beta.

The game is still down. When its up you'll know. There is no current ETA
How will I know? There's no server status page or sever indicator on the launcher that I can see.

Pretty much you'll be able to see your character statues that you might of created. I know its very annoying right now there is no currrent indicator so for players who haven't made a character its pretty much a guess game which is kinda lame unfortunatly. I just realized that you didn't actually make any characters yet.
As of right now you can what make a character go thru all of the designs and when your at the end you can't actually save the character or load the game kinda lame sorry bout that.
I just tried loading it up now and it seems they stop allowing people to log in so you won't get that mistake of making a character a not being able to save it.
