PAX '09 Exclusive Trooper Gameplay *Most* haven't seen!!

Check it out I was surfing around youtube and found some footage taken of a different day at PAX where they showed the trooper in combat that wasn't in the original PAX footage!

A little too flashy for my liking though. I thought the combat would have been a bit more engaging but i already felt the combat was getting repetitive just by watching that video

Hopefully the combat sees some adjustments this year.
You don't have to reply with a jerk comment I was just linking a vid that most I feel haven't seen before. Go outside and do something productive as being a troll is a big waste of time.
Well considering their focus has been on story and world building I'm not surprised that the combat is a little slow at this point. A lot comes together in the last few months of MMO development. I wouldn't really think too much of it until we get closer to beta and release. The guy in the video also didn't seem that smart...he died from average npcs that probably don't have the greatest AI yet.
Flashy combat...well that's what Star Wars is all about lol. Light Sabres are pure flashiness. What do ya expect? Hehe.
However the video is pretty cool. I don't plan on playing that class, but it's always good to keep up on the enemy MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This is an Alpha video 5 months old for a game that isn't going to be released until spring 2011. I'm sure there will be some changes.
I just hope they will fix the animations, or my two sons will be very disapointed...
Too bad its cartoons or me and the wife would have played it as well. But hey, if Earthrise sucks... you never know...

I saw that video a while ago, but I forgot how fun it made the Trooper look (even at an early development stage). Trooper is definitely going to be my Republic class. And, Joe, just kidding. Sort of.
