Trouble with download

in Mortal Online

After Downloading the Mortal file on the torrent,

its now reading seeding. What do I do now?

    I just got the updater running, and got a error message of Timed out.

    And now when I try runing it, I get a error of a missing Undater.

     

    Whats going on?

    There is a long process to get the updater to actually work.  It has been posted in another thread on here so you can search.. or you can try the official forums.  Looks for a thread called updating .18 to .19 stickied on top of the general forum there.  pretty much you have to let the patcher crash 3-4 times and keep restarting it to get all the way through the process but go check out the steps and see if it helps.

    I guess this is a joke.

    Upload ~45K, Download 0,3 -1K, hardly getting more than 15 connections.

    If they want me to beta-test their game, they should at least provide the client in a decent manner. Had the PC up all night downloading that 5.3GB at crawling slow speed and now the patcher tells me to wait another 20+hrs for 449MB.

    Ok I ran the updater, but

    Now it says.

     

    Error: An exception occured during a webclient request

     

     

    What I do now?

     Unfourtunatly their are still bugs in the patching system. Basically, keep running the updater until it lets you hit play. Some people are lucky and never have to restart it, others have to go through hell just to get in the game.

    What kind of Updater is this? I never seen a updater for a game such as this. Takes alot of steps and is confusiing

    The story behind it is confusing but I believe it was donated by a fan named Paratus.  At least he is claiming so on the official forums...

     

    He claims that these issues won't happen with the next patch, but I haven't seen it work so who knows...

    Gotta agree with you there. I was fortunatly one of the lucky ones that just had to tell the updater to go once, and was able to click play in 45mins.

    I was unable to successfully download the client from the 2 official sites - evidently many people are experiencing the same problem.
