I have been following TERA with interest and am very excited about this game. But as other threads have covered, they have recently had a major legal setback that could jeapordize the game.
So my question is, has the company made any type of announcement, press release, letter, etc. reassuring the fans that the game will go forward? I haven't seen one.
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
Comments
Nope. But that's even less of a reason to worry, I'm sure they would have said something if they're screwed.
However if you go to the Korean website you'll notice that they updated it everyday and post developer news every week so, I doubt TERA is any actual trouble that everyone speculates about.
Of what I've read on forums, most fans seem confident in a still 2010 release. Saying that the trial between Bluehole and NCSoft would'nt really affect the further development of TERA.
I guess the guys at Bluehole Studios havent published anything regarding the trials due to it being irrelevant.
Although an official statement on the outcome, in their point of view, would be nice
They are probably still continuing to work on the project. 1.8 Million doesn't seem to be too harsh either, however thats only me speculating.
I doubt they can release any official statements or comments about the game's state or anything probably because they are going still going thru the legal processes and probably not allowed to say anything or even comment until they finish with their appeals and other things with the legal system.
