20 minute wait to get on a server

in World of Warcraft

I'm on Dunemaul server and there are queues of up to 200 people waiting to get on. How can this game thrive and flourish if they expect people to wait around for 20 minutes before they're allowed to play. Obviously it could just be that everyone in on Dunemaul but I'm guessing its quite a common problem.

What's the point of having twelvty hundred servers if the max population on each one is about seven people? Ok a bit extreme but don't you think they need to get this sorted?

    Yeah, there has been queues since release. Change servers or get used to it... that's all you can do.

    I've been on 9 different servers, and never had to wait for one. It's probably one of the most popular servers, or something to do with your computer or internet. Try Destromatch or Suramar.

    WoW has a small million people paying to play their game or at least more then half a million so it sounds pretty normal to me that they can't handle that much without having problems. They have so much more players then all the rest.

    It will change sooner or later. Teh problem is that lots of ppl are on the same area, like the newbie zones and that is why you cant log in. Later, when ppl willl spread over the region more wont have this much waiting time.

    Yep, gotta hold my hands up on this one, have logged on a couple of times in the past couple of days and the problem seems to have sorted itself.

    the wierd thing to me is i keep seeing these waiting posts and its been like this since release what does no one see the 2 or 3 a day posts of this dang quit making new ones and try another server i used to play on aznuel jerab dont know the spelling off hand. and i never had to wait but fiancee plays on stromweaver and she waits all the time. try a low pop server only solution it also has to do with times of day you play. ::::20::::::28::
