Okay so I'm a little confused with the DF system...the Vote to Kick feature, in particular...
Who can initiate a kick? Because on more than a few occasions now I've been unable to initiate a kick and the message I got when attempting to do so seemed to indicate that I had already voted to boot someone and that you can only vote to kick one player per dungeon. The last time I had trouble was when I was partied with either a 10 year old or some guy smoking crack because he joined us toward the end of one dungeon and moved on to a second with us. Right off the bat, he starts pulling crap ahead of the tank and randomly yelling AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH even out of combat.
After a few minutes of this, I had had enough and tried to kick him. Couldn't even initiate the kick. I whispered my boyfriend to say, "Hey, can you boot this clown, he's getting on my nerves?" At that exact time, he whispered me asking the same thing. >.< D'oh. This kid never wound up getting booted even after I whispered another player about removing him and said player agreed to just stop healing him and leave him on his own. How can 2 or 3 players be barred from voting to kick a player? Is it up to just the lead? If so, that's the worst restriction I've ever heard. Part of the way through, this idiot asked what would happen if he jumped off one of the ledges so we all told him to try it and see...and he did...so we got him out of the way temporarily but he survived the fall and just sat down below continually yelling AHHHHHHHHHH HEEEEELLLLPPP despite, yet again, being out of combat...so in essence, we got saddled down with a guy who, even though we ignored him, was still getting part of the experience and part of the loot even though we were 4-maning the run. It took ignoring him for over half of the run to get him to finally leave the party of his own accord.
Not. Fun.

People like that are the exact reason I'm starting to dislike the whole DF idea. Personally I'd say screw that, stick to solo questing as this is the best way to level or go do instances with people on your server, preferbly friends who you already know rather than deal with some dumb ass who you'll probably never see again (with any luck) due to being on a different server.
Well, if you are talking about the 15 minute timer limit, where you can't boot anyone until the 15 minutes are up from the dungeon start. It keeps saying unable to initate vote kick at this time. Or something like that. I had a bot hunter in my group the other day, who had aspect of the pack on and only sent his pet in and had it on auto follow. We would get stunned every time we got hit from his aspect and we couldn't boot him because of the horrible system of booting, so we ended up just endlessly getting him killed.
