This is a great feature but I don't know everything about it. I do realize it's similiar to WoW's idea on the "rest exp" but how much of a vitality bonus can you get?
I just started playing EQ2 again after letting my account sit for 2 months or so. I started off with my level 3 mage and now I'm 9 and STILL have 66% vitality bonus left
So I'm wondering how exactly do you accumulate it? Just by being logged off? And how much of it can you get?

Every hour that you are on you accumulate a chunk of vitality and it doubles your exp while you have it. It's usually like 11.2% an hour.
koto
You got to level 3 then left? You are lvl 2 once you get to the island and once you do the quest that the class selection guy gives, you are almost lvl 3.
Anyways, I dont really get how the vitality works still. I have had 70% or so for a while and I dont see a different in xp.
1) I had more than one character, one was level 3, one was level 18, and I had a few others.
2) It says right on your exp bar when you highlight it: vitality bonus, you gain double exp from kills.
Yes but it always says you are getting double xp.
You get 0.6% vitality or thereabout each hour, going from 0 too 100% is said to take one week, or 168hours, this is what SoE said and I have notreally tested it but it seems to be about rigth. Not sure if this is different for each lvl.
At lvl 40 100% would mean about one whole lvl of vitality for me, this seems to still be the case at lvl 41, or thereabouts.
I am not sure how this affects different lvls but it seems to me that having to wait 168 hours at lvl 15 to have vitality to lvl 16 would be meaningless if it took you another week to get that back.
I have a lvl 13 twink that have 100% and im planning to take him to 20 and stop him there at some point, i will then know for sure how it works for at least the 13-20 lvl range as I will prolly do them lvl in hurry and gain little new Vit but will be using up all my old one.
