Ok, Time for me to see for myself

in Star Trek Online

I must admit that I was quite interested in this title back before learning that the Klingons were not going to make it into release as a fully playable race in the Klingon Empire. But everytime I come to this side of the forums, all I see / read is how utterly horrible STO is... and worse, if you do like the game, then there must be something wrong with you, ie mmo newb, mentally challenged, etc.

 

Well, this is what I propose. If someone would be so kind as to gift me with a friend key (and pm me here with it), I will not only DL the game and try it out. I will write a truely unbiased, personal review in this forum. I did not play in the beta, and I pretty much know very little about the actual game play, mechanics, or story arch.

 

It doesn't matter if the key comes from a hater, or a fanbot, the review will be my own.

 

I challenge the STO community!

    Didn't buy the Collector's Edition (I bought Ulitma IX Dragon Edition years ago... pretty well turned me off of Collector's Editions) so I have no Buddy Key to offer you, but I appluad your intiative!

     You challenge the STO community to what? give you a free key so you can try it out? Like most other ppl either pay for it or sit back and wait for the free trial I doubt it will be many months.

    Umm... let me help you, the Collector's Edition comes with trial keys so <wait for it> others can try out the game!

    just try it thats what i'm doing i only have a 2 month subscription if i like i'll keep paying if not i'll just quit..
