Thank you for coming. These are my questions.
1.) If I have 256 DDR RAM, will this game work, or will it be laggy, as hell.
2.) For the fileplanet download, do you need the CD for it?
3.) Should I play this game, is the crafting and fighting good?
4.) How much GB is the fileplant download, the install in the CD, and the expansion pack download?
5.) Where will I get the best deal on the expansion pack, and the game?
6.) What server should I choose?
7.) What does JTL add?
8.) What race and class should I pick? I am kindof a mage, but I use a little fighting (Including JTL)
9.) Should I be a marksman, swordsman, etc.?
Thanks,
Zephrith

u do need the key and u should have at least gig of ram
1.) I have 512 DDR Ram and i can work with that
2.) eehm, no
3.) Yes, but dont pick crafting skills because trial players cap at 50k credits and cant buy a house for them
4.) I think it was 1.8g and JTL was definetly around 600 megas
5.) eBay :P
6.) Totally up to you, choose something close to you (dont pick Bria because ive heard it's laggy as hell)
7.) Jump To Lightspeed adds space into the game, you can fly your own spaceship and dont have to pay to travel to other planets.
8.) I dont know about what race, read them before picking but as a class, take medic (he has MIND, what you require later to fight against tough ones). And there's no such thing as mage in the game, you can only buy the game, play it for about 4-5 months and become a Jedi, and then you can get to do some voodoo :P
9.) If you like guns, take marksman because pistols and carbines are weak. If you like melee arms, pick Teras Kasi or Swordsman.

For question 1, I can still play comfortably with 256 DDR RAM, right?
depends on your CPU other stats
nope, i hear people flip with 512mbs of the slide show they run into when hitting dense areas... and loading is a pain also with 512

1. it will work AND be laggy as hell. get yourself, at the very least, 512k. i run off of 512k just fine. upgrade to 1g for the best results.
2. no
3. yes you should, and yes, crafting is the best in any game i've come across (IMO, of course )
4. have no idea
5. right now they are only offering them seperatly. try amazon.com
6. Eclipse. it's one of the most populated servers and its got a great economy.
7. It lets you be an ithorian or a <forgot the other critter>. More importantly, it add space and the ability to fly a ship. This also means no waiting at shuttle and starport terminals.
8. this is totally whatever you want to do. i would recommend zabrak to a newbie cause you get a race skill called equilibrium that is nice to have when you're in a tight spot. (it averages out your health/action/mind bars)
9. you are used to being mage, so this means you prefer ranged. I would go marksman
Good luck..hope you enjoy this game as much as i do.
