Hi, I've bought the game and just created an account and I noticed that I'm being ripped off 1 day of my free month..
I searched the European site of WOW, looking for their defenition of "1 month" and found nothing.. but to common sense, normaly when they mention 1 month, they refer to 30days at least of free gaming. Now.. all those that registered their accounts in February must have noticed that this month has 28days, well.. when I created my account awhile ago (2:20PM - 14th February), it was mentioned in the end of the account creation that it would expire at 2:20PM - 14th March.. now, unless my maths are totally wrong.. it makes 29 days of free gaming.. so, is this a new definition of 1 MONTH?
Plus.. I bet this happened to all the new european players, I can only ask to each one of you guys to please verify and report this situation in WOW European's support page.

By free month, I think they mean the day you sign up, to that same date next month. (example: March 6 - April 6, December 21 - January 21)
Hope this helps! ^_^

1 day...you're crying over 1 day? I'm sorry, but that is perhaps the most idiotic thing I have ever heard.
I love the game, I don't mind losing a day, and I don't mind paying, because it's serving its main purpose... entertaining me
1 day is like 9 pound/30 = 30 pence.
Your bothering over 30 pence... you are a sick sick person.

For all those Americans, a Pound is like a little more than 50 cents...If my math is right.
Its the other way around.
Gosh, what amazes me, is that after all these comments, no one has realised that its 28 days, and not 30 days. What will be interesting, and be real grounds for complaint, is if those who subscribe in March only get 30days and not 31.
Hopefully Blizzard will not start treating its customers like some other MM game companies(SoE). The belated european release was not a good sign, is this another ?
First a pound is $2 USD, and I'm not even going to get into the other part, except to wonder why people are so forgiving of Blizzard, when if the same stuff happened with any other company people would be after heads.

Okay, so you got 28 days and you think you should have gotten 29? Give me a break. What could you have accomplished in 28 (FREE) days that could warrant such whining? If you got to level 40, have all your skills, spells, aspects, have your spec tree just the way you want it, have your mount and the armor improvement that you just achieved, not to mention a decent set of that upgraded armor, and an adequate weapon or weapons to boot, all in 28 days, I don't think you should be complaining about theone day that you're missing. You just wasted 28 (FREE) days grinding there, chuckles. Do us a favor and subscribe to the game if you like it that much. Peace out and many dings to you and your loved ones.
Shit! I did the math backwards.
yup
Geforce 6600 ultra = 250 pound america = 400-50 bucks?

I work as a software developer and it is much MUCH easier to tie billing rotation to a calendar day then to a specific number of days. To make it simpler, its easier to generate bills on the 1st of each month then every other 30 days... it also more convenient for customers too, at least for most of them. Id rather know for sure that I have to pay my bills every 1st dat of month then manualy count 30 days forward.
I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

to my point of view, "Month" refers to a calendar month and not to any number of days. So a Month can have 28,29,30 or 31 days.
now, frankly, the idea that Blizz released the game in february to scam their clients of 2 days of game play is not only ridicolous but completely absurd.... and of course whoever said that was joking
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
Oh to hell with it! One day! ONE DAY!
Yesterday I took a day off from WoW because I had alot of work to do, you no life b.net kids just don't know the real value of life, nor can you comprehend the amount of "days" you are going to miss your precious MMORPG AFTER YOU START GOING TO WORK AND PAYING THE BILLS BY YOUR SELF! So take a grip and re organize your priority and stop whining about one gone day of free time.
Oh just had to add becuse I just tought that this is so funny
Since you are so much a "world saver" now that you are not selflessly thinking not for yourself but for the all of us, think of this. You pay 44euros (or 69euros for the collectors edition), can you imagine the amount blizz allready made money compared to the smaller game companies that distribute their MMOGs for free and only the playing costs, can you see where I'm going? Game free playing costs.
So how do you figure that Blizz is trying to rip you off by "snatching" a day off from you? Are you a retard or something?
Here is another thing for you to think, while here you are whining about one day, there are people who would gladly take the money you put in to this game and eat for several months, so before you go japping about how you think so global think of it REALLY global, not just the special select group.
Yeah. The game's sales have gone badly so Blizzard are gonna have to dig about for every penny they can get.
It's one day for god's sake. If you think Blizzard had some sort of evil plan to rip everyone off then you need to get a grip.

They could have decided that one month would equal 30 days of play like you said but in that case one would get 360 days a year (12*30 = 360) so you would be "losing" 4 or 5 days each year.
