Audio Issues with Certain Online Games

I get a sporadic clicking sound when my character walks around. It is very random. It seems to occur more when other NPCs or characters walk by. Anyway, I noticed the same sound in Age of Conan and Allods Online, though I did not notice it in Warhammer, WOW, Aion, or Lord of the Rings Online. Anyway, since I am trying Allods, I wondering if anyone has any suggestion with regard to Sound Drivers. My PC currently uses the RTKVHD64 (Realtek High Def Audio). I tried updating to the most recent for those, but the sound still existed. I tried the Windows Vista Audio Drivers, same issue. Any suggestions?

Well, longshot but it could be the sound card and network adapter are on the same IRQ and not sharing it well. Can check by going into device manager and looking at the resource property tab for IRQ, or starting a fast download then going into the game and see if the audio screws up more.. If so.. Go into bios and make sure PNP OS Installed is set to yes if you have that option, and go into Windows Device Manager and see if you can change IRQ's around.

Also I don't think they have this option anymore but if there's a 'PCI Delay Transfer' setting in your BIOS it should be set to yes. Pretty sure all the onboard stuff on your mobo is on the PCI-e bus and has no option for it.
