I was'nt sure whether to do this as a poll tbh as it really involves me and only me but i would be really glad if you could vote and share a brief reason to your vote. For quite some time now i have been dabbling with the idea of either building my own system or purchasing one. I have come to the conclusion over time that building one just isnt going to happen and that time just does not permit for me. Of course i am looking for a gaming rig which can handle the latest games and im looking for a system which will stay in touch with the times for as long as possible. After much searching on the net i have narrowed it down to 4 systems and id like to share them with you for your thoughts and opinions really. Im looking for the best deal ideally as well as well as value for money and so forth. I thank you for checking these systems and i also thank you for your responses.

gaming rig and ATI Radeon 5450 in same sentence?rig 3 or 4 depends to your budget ,i would pick rig 4 but before it i would try to find motherboard in systems. i7 860 has good Overclock potential and wasting it will be shame .

Edit :I saw systems have intel motherboard ,they dont overclock ,any chance to change motherboard?

If possible find a friend to  build pc for you (hardest part is installing motherboard to case ) ,prebuilt systems are generally dont have good price/performance ratio. I dont have any idea for prices in UK .

Yes sorry i should have specified a budget....£800 - £1000 max. No the option to change the motherboard was not there :(

if you are looking for good value it always pays to shop around a bit

personally i like the prices of novatech.co.uk

if u hunt a few places and add things to basket individually it may give you a better idea of value

Thanks for your input guys i had a look at that site Kara. Looks good might try and arrange a shopping list from it and see what prices come upto....

It's crappy graphics cards in all of them.

Build your own computer or get help from someone.

It's not that hard to build your own, it just takes small fingers and patience.

All those memories will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.

The difference on Option 4 is worth the 70 additional pounds.  Its actually a relatively good buy considering the prices in England.

     I'd choose the Nova ST10, option 4.

It looks like a pretty good buy, but what sells it for me is the 2 TB of hard disk space and the 7.1 audio. I spent too much on my rig according to others, but that's what I like, so that's what I got.

I do agree with Mellow though, I'd get a better graphics card if you can. If you can't for a while, no big loss. You'll be able to cope I'm sure.

With just those options, I'd go with 4. Graphics card is vital if you're going to be gaming a good deal.

On that note: With that sort of budget, I'd consider stepping down to i5 750 on CPU and try going for ATI HD5850 on graphics card.

Thanks for the input guys its much appreciated. Im not all that fancy with computers and i certainly do not have little fingers, more like sausage fingers. I do have a question....if i was to up my PSU which is an option that would enable me to upgrade my graphics card yes?

Upgrading your psu will help if you want to put a power hungery vga card .If you have pci-e x16 slot upgrading vga is an option of course.

    1-What is your psu now?

2-Which vga card you are thinking to buy?

3-Do you think you may add 2nd vga card later ?

You may or may not need for a new psu ,depends to card you want to buy/psu you have .

PS: What is your current cpu ?And which resolution(s) will you play?

Well my current computer is quite old Jag..few years atleast...psu is approx 330 watt.

For my gaming id be happy to upgrade my psu to a 800w Silent PSU. This is going by the companies that supplies these above computers. Id like to get the best i can for this i suppose.

For thew 3 rd option im unsure as im not familiar with having 2 cards in 1 system. Must be a relatively new thing?

    btw Jag....

the website i got my options from are these guys is you are interested....

If you can go with 4 gb's of ram, perhaprs step down the HD to 500 GBs, and use the savings to up the VGA? Of course if you get too good a VGA card, might the cpu be the bottleneck? At which point you've got an intel MB, and I'm thinking that doesn't let you overclock. At any rate, I would try for the best card, and keep your price range.

If you haven't done it yet, check out Digital Storm. only thing is, shipping might eat you up, but have a look, please before you spend that hard earned money, M8.

Oh and bye the way, adding 2nd HD later, is KISS simple, really. I'd even consider less than 500GBs, provided the savings is there, for now.

I had chance to look systems and nova with upgraded psu is is a good option i guess ,i tried  base models their price coming to 850-950 range without monitor im afraid .If you cant build yourself novaST10 is the way to go  (bringing wolf to same configuration costs extra 128 )  just upgrade psu to be future proof .

Call them and learn which brand/model is 800w psu and which model is corsair psu and motherboard brand/model
