Im lost. . .
?f you have agp slot you can get a card with SM 3.0 (or better ) support ,get a used 6600gt or 7600gt if you can find .
Your options
1-Get a used card 6600gt-7600gt - x1900 -1950 agp latest agp card is radeon 4670agp but expensive than reguler pci-e models.I hope you have nice psu to handle these cards .
2-Upgrade motherboard-cpu-ram (you can find cheap AMD solution with 780g motherboards ,they have on-board vga -match it with cheap and good AMD x2 cpu)
3-Use 3d analyze www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/3d_analyze/index.php it tells the game you have SM x but youll have bad fps .
These are your options if you have agp slot.
mm op!mac has support for your comp graphic .10.5 that being said it will limit your gaming capability (no many make game for apple yet
the best bet buy a brand new agp card yes they still make those
and contrary to kids belief they are as fast if not faster then pcie.?the techno of agp always was faster and they had to work a lot to make pcie faster yes on paper pcie could be faster but only the very recent design change at ati got as faster card then the agp model.)ati5xxx serie and i bet ati changed the card design only because of dx11 wich is useless now and wont be usefull for at least 3 years
ok!my advice!go to a local chain store ,i think best buy style store is ok.for me at my local store i saw the agp card
let me check exact model!
Pixel shader 2.0 "support" cannot be gained via a software update.
Pixel Shader 2.0 is a standard for the actual hardware itself, to "get it" you need the correct hardware, in other words you will need to replace your non pixel shader 2.0 card with one that does have it, though unless you can find a second hand pixel shader 2.0 card that is compatible with your existing outdated motherboard you would be better served by buying a new pc with a decent level of hardware suited for gaming.
Personally speaking if your pc is so antiquated it cannot support pixel shader 2.0 it's 10 years out of date & it's long overdue being binned & replaced, hell my pc is oover 5 years old & on it's knees & that has a shader 3.0 capable graphics card.

heres a nice card for your system
stay with gigabyte,asus,sappire
that card is an exemple but its the latest agp card i believe!
its fairly inexpensive and will go as fast as a ati 4xxx pcie card since back then the card werent optimise the way the new ati 5xxx serie were optimise make sure the brand you take support w7 (in case you plan to upgrate to w 7
Your 9200 pro does not have smart shader 2.
I believe it started with all their DX9 support cards.I have a X800 pro and noticed it has 9b and shader 2 support. My x800pro is very old,but it is still a decent card, not many games use higher than 2.0.I am pretty sure it is an AGP card ,i am not sure if you have an AGP or just pci,but you should be able to upgrade really cheap, heck in Canada you could probably get a card for like 50 bucks tops,in usa maybe 10 bucks lol.Stores will not likely have any of these so you may have to buy online or just ask some old tech shop if they have any cards kicking around that you could use.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
I have a used AGP Geforce 6600GT I could probably sell but your profile says you're in Japan so might not be that easy.
no they are cheap but they dont give them away lol.since they sell as much as those then their mainstream card
plan to pay between 85 to 125$
used tho lot of agp card can be had on the net for a song ,just make sure you can see it working where everyou buy it !
but i wouldnt touch used new one supply you with ton of stuff
buy a wii, a ps3 or an xbox 360 instead and hook it up to your hd tv
that the cheapest way to get todays graphic
wait till game maker do dx11 game before buying new computer or part
it isnt worth it,just ask around your family for computer part (yes very often they sit around in garage warehouse etc!
they ll often give them ,just bring them in for a nice dinner at your local restaurent everybody will be happy for the reunion
and you ll get ton of computer part (enough to build lot of computer lol.

Those are the only cards to recommend for any AGP user. They may bottleneck your system but hey, they'll get the job done.
All I can say if you spend alot of time gaming, don't be a bum, upgrade your system. Not only will you be able to play the games you want but you will have an overall better gaming experience. Just like any other hobby, you have to spend money if you want to stay up to date, computers are by far no exception.
