Question... instanced?

I have not been keeping an eye on this game. Is this game supposed to be heavily instanced (like STO.. what a waste of a IP.) or more towards open world.. such as Lineage2 or LOTRO..

They said the worlds will be open with instancing for story arcs.

If you stand VERY still, and close your eyes, after a minute you can actually FEEL the universe revolving around PvP.

From what I've seen and what I've read. It leads me to believe that the game is going to be heavily instanced.

it's going to be another standard MMO sadly :( I wish games would go full open world style like Darkfall and less instanced, it really kills the gameplay imo.

Hmmm.. I really hope it is not too instanced.. I can understand a few.. Ie. A ship you board for a quest.... but not every place.. `

^ The lazy alternative to research.

From what has been said by both BioWare and people to have gotten a hands on experience. Worlds are open, players are visible. Flashpoints (I'm assuming this is BioWares word for Dungeon) are instances and it was learned some if not most are repeatable. Phasing will be used in key locations. Let's say I accept a mission to assassinate a Smuggler that lives on tatooine. Going into the home I can see him, I kill him, travel back to complete the mission, I return and he is no longer there, ever. This is done by phasing. There could be other people in the building, I just can't see them until they kill him. The other alternative to how this could work is the NPC is phased but the players are not. This improves immersion.  Blizzard did this with the Wrathgate chain in the former method I mentioned.
