Anyone else with this problem?

My brother starts the same I do... His specs are about the same... He has less ram and an older video card...

Same rez, high setting... He has an ATI 4850.. I have an ATI 5770...

He gets 40+ frames at high, I get 0-9 frames at any setting...

The jerking in the game makes it unbearable.. I checked drivers.. temps.. cpu..

We have the same OS, same game install, same MBoard/Audio/etc... Only difference is one card is DX10 (his), mine's DX11...

So, am I the only one having these FPS problems?

BTW.. When I run Mass Effect 2 at max settings with 50+ frames...

I have only a ATI 3850 and getting around 40 fps on the High setting so I'm thinking something else is off.
What operating system are you using?  as I was reading the in-game chat the people that seemed to be having stuttering problems were using Win 7 (I'm using Vista 64).

Currently, there is a serious overload on players. Depending on the zone, FPS varies wildly. It'll straighten out, once people spread over levels more.

I hate WoW because it made my plush hamster kill himself, created twin clones of Hitler, punched Superboy Prime in reality, stared my dog down, spoiled my grandmother, assimilated me into the Borg, then made me into a real boy, just to make me a woman again.

yep op say ty to 32 bit!its massive multiplayer online as long as there is only 10 total char on screen (this include the npc by the way) only solution lower aa and af as low as they ll go i dont think you ll notice a diff between no aa and with aa or af

game maker are beginning to make nice graphic from the start so your card dont need to do the grunt of the work and make game lag!but some game do relly on card when that happens just hope that game isnt terribly popular or it will be a play by play sequence the whole way

Not sure what the previous person was trying to say.. Anyway, I've been talking to people on the tech support forums.. Not actual game devs, but other people with the problem... Anyone with a 4870 and above is having issues with the game.. No matter the Operating System.. So the newer ATI cards seem to be sputtering in the game. I'm thinking OpenGL was uses in the game then... Or a Catalyst issue. Either way, it's not the fact of not enough power to run, but perhaps too old for the computer to even want to run.
