LF low-spec game

Hello everyone. I own a pretty old machine. It was good in it's days but those have come and gone. My graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce FX 5200, and the rest of the hardware is too match, and I barely have a gig of ram. Right now I'm playing League of Legends, but that only kills about an hour a day (would be more if I found people as bad as I am to play with) and I'm looking for a pretty good time sink. I'm also playing Atlantica, but there's something that feels lacking in an F2P, so that won't hold me over too well. I'm looking for a game I can sub too with pretty low specs, or a game I can tone down to work with my hardware until Final Fantasy XIV comes out for PS3. I'm thinking LOTRO or FFXI, they both ran okay at minimum, but anything else you can think of would help, or if you can tell me which one would be best. I left FFXI because the community in the beginning areas was tiny, but I loved the game, and I haven't tried LOTRO yet but I love the lore, and I hear a lot about it being good. I've played DDO for awhile but got bored of it. The only other game I can think of is WoW, and I don't want to go down that road. I'm leaning more toward LOTRO right now, but if someone with experience of both can compare the two it would help. I would also appreciate some suggestions, whether indie or AAA it doesn't matter.

silkroad online is a great game ,aika, eart eternal, pirate galaxy, free realm, tiger wood golf(made by ea )this last is made on the unity engine and look insane for a browser game there are probably others but these come to mind for now!

It can handle more than browser, anything close to what LOTRO, WOW, and FFXI have at low spec it can play. I also would like a subscription based game, I know my options are limited this way, but I'm worn out on F2P right now. Thanks for all the suggestions though.

EVE online runs on just about anything, if you're in to sandbox sci-fi's.

Altis Gates, though in beta and also F2P, is quite enjoyable and should run fine.

You may also wish to look in to Atlantica Online or Dragon Oath. Also, older games with still stong communities like EQ or Asheron's Call may not be a bad choice.

    I play in a sandbox.

idk man i would just go with WoW. never tried LOTRO, but i hear it's pretty good. i think there's a trial for it. might wanna take a look.

I don't want to submit to the WoW beast, I'd much rather go for a game I can nerd all over like LOTRO, Warcraft was fun but not my favorite IP. Ndodge, I remember playing EvE when it came out on an equally bad PC, but the specs seem to be too high for this machine now. I'll look into it again though, I loved that game when I played it, and all I've heard of the new content makes me want to get my new PC now, but I can't afford it. Altis Gate looks good, I didn't get into the closed beta so I'm waiting to try it. I'm also looking forward to Fantasy Earth Zero.

Going to trial EvE now, if it runs well I'll most likely stick with it. Again I appreciate the help.
