Gamespot pulled their review - meh

I wavered for a long time about buying this game even after I tried the beta and combed through many forum posts (most of them quite positive).  I post this now not to bash the game beause I can, but to provide one more bit of info for those wondering.  This is all only my opinion and I do not profess to be any kind of an expert or pro gamer.  I am just your average guy that likes to play fun games every now and then.

In my opinion Gamespot had it right the first time.  I understand why they pulled the review given their explanation, but I will be suspicious and shocked if the new review comes in substantially greater (like anything over 6.5).  The game is imminently average at best.  It is neither a great FPS in my opinion nor any kind of an MMO.  It is very - meh as someone else said in a separate post.

For those that love it enjoy.  I feel like I wasted $49.99.  I eagerly await the re-review and the conspiracy theories.

im Gonna have to Agree with this Post i Waited for this Game i was super Excited and ill Tell you out Right Great Gameplay. the instancing is fun the pvp is fun. But and its a big But , It only last's for so long. the maps might change but the Gameplay is the Same. And it seems difficult to get into an agency for conquest.

Pve is the Same 5 maps with Diffrent bosses at the end but after a while u can learn where the enemies Are and what around the next corner because you just Ran the same map 10 mins ago. Harder modes are Diff maps but you lvl Determines which mission's you can go on.

Pvp is kinda a pain Cause if your Team is Trash your not gonna get much exp.
and Exp is important because it unlock new weapons and skills.

Now conquest might be the all mighty pvp Exp i missed out on. But im not to Fond of being Recruited in an Agency to Prove myself and kiss some Jerk butt to Stay in the Agency.

and the Chat system is Kinda a pain to use. and the AH is Boring < Same and the Crafting system.

I Feel that in upcoming Expansions and or Updates they are going to add some killer stuff to Entertain the masses. Which is when this Game will Shine.

But if you have a Group of Buddies this game will be perfect for you.

Wait, huh? Why did they pull their review?

In regards to their actual reviews, don't judge games based off of their crappy critiquing. They lost every ounce of respect they had by giving Grand Theft Auto IV a perfect 10, and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars the DS game of the year. Sorry Gamespot...

...no. The best way to research games anymore is to not rely on reviews, but gather up what the community is saying from various websites. I rather like Kotaku's reviews though...they don't use numbers and they are straight forward in a good way.

I feel like ive lost 40e too.. its ok game, but not that good... Sadly no option to return money..selling account for half the price is illegal i presume?

the game hasn't even been out for a month and i hear so many people yelling "not enough content!". give it a few months at least. and ffs don't expect this massive game, just full to burst with content. it's a shooter so it's not gunno have this huge world to explore and a ton of PvE missions.

how many of u guys saying "ah its bad" "no enough content" have been in a agency and took a part in the AvA ? i just wonder.... and if you just look at the upcomming patch notes then u will see a shit load of new content even outside AvA.

yes i like the game i think its good, and i totally understand why some people dont. But people just seems to judge it within the first 30 min, even previews... we had 4 press guys in our aganecy and only 2 of them eve got into AvA for 1 of 2 matches (20 min)  rest is not really online for it . how many reviews do u see talk about AvA(conquest)? and even if they do then i doubt have gotten proberly into it.

its like playing wow make a lvl 80 char and say "omg now what? oh well i finished the game i guess nothing more to do" ........... and not even that as lvl 30 in GA was done after 1 day. (beyond lvl 30 u wont gain anything). then i could understand a typical gamer would miss to lvl or something, but i guess this is not a lvl / gear game ... its about teamwork and player skills, it reminds me somewhat of guildwars.
