On Kirin Tor, wow guild Wombat Wevolution also where I saw the first alliance guild(posted above) Built Horde Tough. In Aion "blue garter" "a sexy pants party" "sword to a magic fight" "i have a big pvpness" "mana is a gateway drug" "and the pussycats" and one of my favorites "sucks less" on vaziel, when I saw them running around I had to think, well yeah you might suck less but you still suck! :P
I'm sure I've seen some funny stuff in eve, but I can't remember.

Okay, the couch pulls out but I don't guild name just made me lol so loud now my co-workers want to know what I'm laughing at. GD that was funny. I've seen the Riders of Lohan before and that one always made me laugh. Couple from wow that I remembered were:

Gnomosexuals (all gnomes and was changed eventually but this one used to make me laugh every time I saw it)
We need to start thinking of MMO's as we do music or literature or the movies. There is not one MMO or one game that will be universally satisfactory to everyone's taste. MMO's don't come in one genre just as books or music doesn't come in one genre. Change and innovation is a good thing in the MMO industry just as it is in literature and music, but every MMO doesn't need to push the envelope or be cutting edge to be "good" or fun. It just needs to be good. The same is true for music. The same is true for books or for movies. Music evolves. MMO's evolve. Storytelling evolves. And in doing so, it doesn't make obsolete or not enjoyable everything that's been done before.
