Just curious as to what servers all the members here play on.


My main is Darkfoot DM/Regen Scrapper on Triumph.

    Most of my toons where on Liberty server.

     

    On Triumph I have a regen/spines scrapper 34 name Uli and a PB level 29 name Ula.

     

    However, I am not subscribing since Jan 29, pissed at Issue 3 solo hunting. image

    lol :P Well that's not good!

    I've actually solo'd my way through lvl 18. Only grouped to help a friend with some debt, and a Task Force.

    Most of my characters are on Freedom. I hear alot of complaints with soloing. I've solo'd myself pretty much up to lvl 30. Blaster is the way to go. Best class, I've tried defenders, tankers, scrappers, but after about lvl 8, you need to team or leveling anywhere gets REAL slow. A blaster can rip through high lvl enemies with little problems, concentrate on defense powers.

    The problem is that with most classes is that they have a breaking point where they get so much better. Like fire tankers around lvl 20 when they get burn and become soloing machines. You just gotta build your character right its hard but everyclass is good and can solo just depends on how you make them and if you hit the lvl where you can do it well.

    What kind of Scrapper did you make? My DM/Regen Scrapper has solo'd all the way up to, and now almost lvl 19. I'll probably need to start getting teamed up in the future though probably.

    My main is Captain Vicious, a lvl 26 claws/regen scrapper on Virtue.  I have other alts on Virtue, and a few more on Guardianimage

    All of my toons are on Pinnacle.

    As for the soloing issue, I never felt that there was one, personally.  My DM/SR Scrapper got from 42-50 AFTER Issue #3 was released, soloing most of the way, except for the tougher AVs in the game that you start to get around lvl 45.  But as stated many times by the developers, AVs were NEVER meant to be soloable.

    All my chars are on Pinnacle thats where most of the europeans decided to go after beta.

    I have been away from the net for a year (this is just temporary me being on now till July) so cant remember all their names and lvls exactly all chars are lvl 20+ and i have at least one of each type.

    Now that the game is available over here there will be a bigger spread of europeans over the different servers but if the intent of this post was to find a server with ppl on when you are likely to be try Pinnace, unless over the past 12 month they have swapped (which i find unlikely that many ppl have) you will find more ppl there.

    SOLO COMMENTS.

     

    Even since Issue 3, someone CAN solo up to 50.  But that is not enought for me.

     

    Since Issue 3, I cant solo to achieve my missions and kill the AVs or monsters in them.  Since Issue 3, for someone maxed, all they add is a PB or Shades, those dont solo half as well as blasters or scrappers solo, yet, they are the only option for maxed soloers.  Since Issue 3, I can even less work on my badges that give extra HPS or Endurance to soloers.

    CoH is more solo friendly then any other MMORPG, including the nasty WoW, yet, it is not enought for me.  Pre-Issue 3, it was a LOT better.  If someone lower my game quality I can...keep playing because it is still good OR leave to show them I wont take that type of mistreatment.  They expect me to accept it like I accept it back in old EQ when there was no raid content and solo was not nerfed yet, they make a bad expectation and hopeflly they will understand it.  I expect Issues to IMPROVE my gameplay, not to make soloers more and more backwards with easy dumbed down XP to groups and better rewards(accolades) restricted to groups only.  I would not mind that an accolade that give stats in groups only (number of players minus 1 = given stats) need you to group to earn it, but everything that affect solo need to be earnable by at least the ''best'' solo class, if not more then 1 class.

    A game that make soloers second-class toons in soloing is a game I wont support anymore.  Best soloers need to be soloers, not peoples who earn XP faster in groups, earn accolade in group and then start soloing better then someone who earn solo edges soloing, and I wont accept any compromise, there are tons of single player RPG if the MMORPGs are to dimwit to understand it.
