Actually....now that I think of it....most of the non-serious guild names ARE from WoW. "Back in the day," I think we took our guild names more seriously. lol

RPness is Rising (this is the only one I listed that I don't actually KNOW, but just heard of)
"Sub's Name is Sub Because he always has meat between his buns" -EQOA again , it was crack at this guy named Sub that NO ONE liked, gms had transfered his characters from another server to ours because he was harrassed by EVERYONE on his old server. wich is saying something because to this day you can't even buy server transfers. biggest ass you ever met, trained people, told every one they sucked at thier class,called everyone NOOBS! turned out he was like 15 or something wich was just odd for that game.
Team Faction wasn't so funny in it's name, but after reading in trade "JOIN TEAM FACTIOIN WE ARE HOT CARS AND FAST WOMEN" And seeing a character named "faction" in the guild but wasn't the guild leader I laughed everytime I saw them go by.
