As I download the trial I'd like to learn a little about where I should start.
Which race is best suited for archery, and mobility?
Which race has a larger newb population?
When a player loots you can they take everything or is it random what shows up for them to loot?
Will I be able to actually PVP within 7 days? Newb PVP is a given considering it's the first day of the trial, what I am referring to is the meat and potatoes of the game.
Starting equipment, do you get any?

1. miridian have dex bonus but it gives around 1-2 dmg (comparing to 30-35 dmg dealt). Imho choose race that you like best
2. Humans, of course.
3. Everything that he was wearing.
4. Yes, you will able to PvP with newbs since day 1. You need to get your skills up before being viable in Group PvP. Forget about beating vets 1v1 before month or 2 ingame. If you want to taste PvP gather some newb group and roam other races
5. You only get basic no dropable 1h sword but you don't get skill ups while using it.
Overall, bank often and have fun
you can switch your starter weapon to whatever you want . costs gold everytime you switch and yea you wont be able to skill up with those weapons.
PVP wise, I'm like a month in and still cant really hold my ground against most people 1on1 but its always fun in a group fight. Join NEW or a clan you have friends in , they're always helpful
What I gather from your replies is the first letter of business should be getting my hands on a new sword, axe or what ever I want to skill up in?
Thanks for the replies guys.

Mirdain(elves) for archery, Mahirim(wolves) for mobility
The human starting area is usually the most packed.
Everything
Not effectively. A couple months.
You get some starting leather through a chain of newbie quests... you probably won't hold onto it for long. Armor really isn't that important starting out against goblins, and you can pick up weapons easily enough off of dead monster, or even buy one off a NPC vendor. Plus crafting your own newbie weapons(melee, bows, wands) and armor is painless and quickly obtained.
Your going to lose gear. It's not a big deal unless you make it a big deal. Bank your gold fairly often and you'll be fine.
*most of the time a ganker won't bother taking your armor or weapons(because they suck as a newb), so you can usually run to your gravestone and re-equip all your gear if your quick enough.
Must watch:
This is mandatory, it's not game like any other.
yep, preferably a two handed weapon. Kobolds drop 2-handed swords and bows(+arrows) and are pretty easy to kill. Goblin Shaman drop wands, but are somewhat difficult(but very doable) for a new player.
one thing i learned from my past is , always keep a shitload of weapons/armor in your bank. I used to carry 3 2h swords and like 2 sets of armor but once they break or you die , you gotta run back to the mob location and grab gear again .
Thanks for all the replies everyone!
Clients all set up, just have to create my account and I am ready to go. See everyone in game:).

Have fun!
Just remember, trust no one, be paranoid, and bank often.
