Can anyone else sense the carnage to come this weekend?

I'm talking about the trials, yes they have 2 hours of saftey but after that it's up and you can't re roll to get another 2 hours of saftey. It's 2 hours per account and this weekend I sense there shall be much carnage. I don't just mean people PKing newbies but I sense there will be many players there to defend them and the carnage will begin when the two groups meet. Giving newbies the perfect opportunity to get some PvP action in Darkfall.

Clan NEW will no doubt help them out and perhaps do something to get some of them organized. I had a dream last night of an army of naked warriors brandishing leafblades pouring down a mountainside towards a single PK, screaming for vengance and howling for his blood!

For those trying the game out, Darkfall is brutal as MMORPGs go. I suggest you find some friends to team up with and get help from on these forums before stepping foot in Agon. Find a clan here that will help you out and give you a break otherwise your short term future in Agon could look much like this!

Everyone dies in Agon but you want to be the guy that dies less! So I'm open to give advice in game to anyone that starts on EU-1, I may even be persuaded to give you some free gear if you're close enough (Ork/Mahirim). Having a rough time around Ork starter cities? Then send me a PM and I'll see what I can do,

Welcome to Agon!

On NA-1 at Zag there is always carnage. Never dull, but I will surely be making runs...hehe.

Is it really only 2 hours protection for trials?  The post on the Darkfall forums isn't concrete on the time but 2 hours gameplay time is...well, like slapping a red towel on some tourist and kicking him out on the street during the running of the bulls.  All I can say to the trial players is bank often and listen for horses (and the bow creaking sound/magic cast sound)....I'll also note that one thing that always seems to be left out,  THERE IS NO NEON NAME FLOATING OVER YOUR HEAD so you can hide pretty easy if need too.  All that being said, with 8 weeks of play I've only been ganked 3 times, attacked 7 times.

I won't be anywhere near the n00b lands, but I'm willing to bet that DHW and friends will be making life interesting for us down on Cairn.

Been some INCREDIBLE battles down there lately. Getting some nice gear off these guys

I agree, I've been playing 3.5 months now and have my HP to 340, great Axes to 100, archery 100, Fire magic 100 and weapon smithing 100. Just those stats and skills say I play DFO too much and they're all legit, no macroing and no lame AFK swimming or running.

I play this game too much because it's the only MMORPG released in the last 4 years worth playing and the only MMORPG with PvP worth more than a steamy pile of NGE. I need to get out more, I need to get a life, I need to see a naked woman again but those things cost time and money and I'm happily divorced due to the fact that love is something invented by bank managers to make you over drawn ... FACT!

I'm happy living in my mother's basement playing DFO until my death from heart disease due to a steady diet of pepperoni pizza and high caffine energy drinks!

    See you this weekend!

It's not 2 hours of newbie protection, it's 24 hours... of logged-in gameplay time.

I have 10 hours left, I'm beginning to get scared... but at least I had time to stockpile a crapload of stuff, do a lot of quests and get started on some title quests without any hassle (heck, the mobs are challenging enough, can't really imagine how it will be with the backstab alert factor heh).

First thing I'll do when time is up is attempt to do the kill other races quests... if PvP is unavoidable might as well as make the first-strike.

Nono. No need to get outside and embrace the so called "real life" when you are building one online. And you know that there is naked chicks online as well :)

That kind of thinking will save your ass, but certainly make you enemies.

    fun though?

I'm sure there will be lots of carnage as the legions of griefers descend on the horde of defenseless new players... carnage indeed.
