Hmmm star trek online eh

in Star Trek Online

I remember star trek released this space combat game years ago prob 10 years ago. Man that game was one of the best games ever made. Mulitplayer space battles, borg cubes, lots of ships, somewhat complicated flight. It was fun. How come they downgraded everything so much to make an MMO? I wanted to buy this game extremely badly untill it came out and got bad reviews and all the gameplay videos make it look like WoW in space. Are they planning on adding content or do you guys think this will just be another MMO that hangs out by a slim profit line. How come they took out the dynamic ship battles and didnt make a first person shooter ground element?

    Short answer: They made the game so stupidly easy and accessible to everyone, that no one wants to play it.

    This is not WoW in space, this is even more stupid and mind-numbingly easy. This is... STO!!! *sparta scream*

    Thats the impression I got from the gameplay videos on youtube. Mindnumbing easy grind for no real reason. Well maybe next MMO
