Lord of the Rings Online: New "Player Feed" Social App Launched

Turbine has announced the launch of a new social app for The Lord of the Rings Online called the "Player Feed." The Player Feed will allow LOTRO players to share their in-game status and achievements with friends through Facebook, and is powered by my.lotro.com.

    Since it's based on my.lotro.com I'm assuming this is another US-only offer?

    I can say I'm really not interested at all in that feature, still I can understand some players wants to show off...

     

    However pretty sure many players frowns at this thinking the $$$ should have been spent to add content or fluff features in game.

    To the extent that people have this data showing on Facebook for their friends to see, this could be a smart piece of marketing.

    I was wondering that? Why can't they somehow link the EU LotRO accounts to the USA ones?

    Isn't it a bit risky? what if they hacked facebook to get the accounts?
