Help installing Video Card

 Well i reformatted my Hard Drive and now i need help installing my Geforce 8500 GT, i have a disc and everytime i put it in a pop up comes up and says no VGA device found. Please help me

    Download the driver from nVidia website.  If that doesn't work, check to see if the device is working properly by going to Control Panel> Device Manager> Display Adapters.  If your card is not there and there is an Unknown device, somethings wrong.

    Make sure you have the motherboard drivers installed too, might help if it's an AGP video card.

    Go to your Device Manager and check to see if there are any question marks.  If you see a question mark, you probably need to install a driver.  When I reformat hard drives at work (XP Machines), I almost always have to install at least an ethernet driver.
