They all SUCK. The last company I actually have hope for is Bioware They've never produced a game that sucked. Ever. Now they are at mmorpg's and hope to god they show everyone of these companys how an MMO should be made.

Arenanet is the best one out there. They are the only company that makes B2P games (Buy to play) and they are dedicated people that neither tries to take your last dime nor screw you over in the game. Upcoming Guildwars 2 will be awesome.

As for the rest of them, all the larger devs seems to be douchebags, Turbine might be slightly better than the rest.

And publishing houses are even worse, and EA is the worst of them all even though Activision-Blizzard have showed their colors the last few days.

hm... bioware... lets hope they dont get the mmo they are making like those singleplayerish games... or they are so going to suck, one example... M2... so cool.... but after 50 hours of play... that it... closet with it...

so far in my experience one of the best games i played but not properly mmo is GW.... more than 2600+ hours played... STO got from me like 150 in 3 weeks and thats it with it... AION i think that one manage to pull in a few months like 400 or 500...

But of course we have to consider the economical problems, and technical ones this days, games come short... and investors doesnt even forgive their mothers, those are the ones screwing economy from the unemployment side...

I have to say NC gets my vote, Lineage 2 is still the top PvP game imo.

having said that the new guys on the bock to keep an eye on is Bluehole Studios, they are the developers of Tera an upcomming mmo http://www.tera-online.com/

Tera's development team consists of many former ncsoft employees, yes the very same team that stole Lineage 3's source code. While I do not approve of the theft, I am highly anticipating Tera.
