[Dumb Poll] Number One: What's your all time favorite game?

Hi Everyone, I've decided to start these polls i like to call dumb polls. I'll have one every few days or so. They'll ask very basic questions about your gaming life. The first is "What's your all time favorite game?"
Note: Had to limit the list to ten. Sorry Guys.

You know you haven't given a good selection when almost half the votes are "Other". Mine, for example, was Final Fantasy XI, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
It would have to be a toss up between EQ and SWG but you left SWG off the poll.
id have to say last chaos i know its a F2P and a bit of a grinder "alot of a grinder" but at its time of launch it was miles ahead of anything on the market
it keep me playing for over 2 years no MMO to date has done the same
but the end game content was a flop ive heard in the past year alots been added to end game i may pay them a new visit
I voted for WOW as there hasnt (imo) been a game like it. Lots of content and things to do. So many games today lack this. I left WOW because it became too easy. Burning Crusade sadly made alot of content irrelevant when I played and began the horrible trek of easiness. I miss the pre-BC WOW.
(BBBBBBWWWWWAAAAHHHH fires plungers at Blizzard for tearing apart the game I loved!)

WoW died in my mind and became a completely different game once they released Battlegrounds. It was an excellent game before then.... sadly it's quite a pathetic game as it is now, not only because it's so ridiculously easy and carebeared to hell, but because open world PvP died when BG was released.....
*edit - on topic though, I'd say the best MMO I've ever played was by far Ultima Online. Darkfall, my current MMO, comes in second.

My favorite is LotRO, but you left it off the list. Rethink your list and make a new concise post.

Why you left one of the biggest games out there, Linage 2 out its beyond me. You also left SWG which at one point was big and very loved.

I enjoyed Ascheron's Call greatly too, that wasn't on the list! Its a very very close 2nd.
Playing FE now... its brought back alot of that old school SWG feel for me.
I had to say other since I wanted to say Final Fantasy XI. Despite the frustrations in that game I've never played anything else like it... here's hoping XIV lives up to expectations.

For me it's a toss up between Anarchy Online and WoW, so I picked "other"

FFXI was my first choice. Followed closely by SWG pre CU and LOTRO.

I voted 'other" as DAoC was my best MMO experience.
I had been a part of the "Big 3"(UO/EQ/AC) as I had been playing MMO's from the start of UO, but even after 5 years of playing MMO's, DAoC captured and held me like no other.
I still haven't found a game to capture me like it did and probably never will.

Would imagine that will get the bulk of the votes especially with the likes of AoC being on that list.
1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

I voted WoW but I too left because it is pretty easy. If that is how they want it to be then so be it. I still have FE and DFO which are a lot harder so I'm not complaining. I will re-sub for CAT just because.
