I dunno, i just think when a n00b sword costs 64,000 adena while enemies are dropping 100 adena at a time kindof stinks. -only one race can craft.....period....and thats dwarfs which can only be fighters. so if you wanna be a mage (mystic) crafter you're kinda out of luck. -you cant see helmets/hats on people.
overall i really liked lineage 2, and i dont completely understand why it got such bad reviews, hope that helps
I agree with you, Lineage 2 is a pretty decent mmorpg, but alot of players hate it simply because of the botters and hackers. I didn't like the ffa pvp because some random high level players can come up to you and kill you. You will lose the exp and they will turn red if they were not before. Being killed didn't gain me anything, at least make it with no exp lost. Their armor textures are flawless, it's simply gets better every patch. I haven't tried out C2, but I'm sure it's an update which everyone wanted.

lvl 69 spell howler from open beta to 2 months ago is how long the game is prety and has dragons to get items u will be killing other players unless ebay is youre friend all i can say if you go to play be ready for me pk ok and RANG RANG or pk pk? and be prepared to lose youre main weapon if you get killed i lost a staff of life a few times once i lost my robe of sages i left never to return 35mill is a pain in the arse to get unless youre main was a dwarf wich should be if you want to make anykind of decent cash but it is prety and for most it amuses them enough to be blind to the many flaws in the game
played till level 55 and it was fun. but NOTHING on the level of DAOC, which is teh god of MMORPGs, it has never been reallly near the top its just been really reallly stable performance level for years.
This game has a lot of trouble but SOOOOO much good.
major problem i had > i was level 15ish and doing a quest called varool foul claw.during this quest you kill 30 or 40 of his rat minions and get cash rewards for this, varool foulclaw is worth a lot more though for every time you kill him. A chinese speaking adena farmer or a bunch of him had this dungeon PERFECTLY timed, so they would ALWAYS KS him. so i petitioned a GM 5 times, each week that night adn they never let me do the quest. and i never got it done.
then when i got to a higher level i got me and a posse and killed those assholes, and kept them dead for a day while noobs got the quest done.
This leads to another problem, the karma system protects the crooks, KSers, grievers, and anyone who does and doesnt deserve it. but it sort of protects noobs.
Pros great graphics, AWESOME AWESOME sound, cool looking ( but not individual looking) characters, and great fun once u get to 35 the lower levels are the worst gaming experience I HAVE EVER HAD.
