In my short gametime of about 30 hours mostly on the now crowded server Warsong with Alliance Dwarf Rogue I notice the the lack of any female dwarf characters (not including npcs), when there are a lot of female Humans, Elves and even Gnomes. Two of my friends play with female characters but I decided my characters' gender in WoW to corespond to mine - Male (while in non online rpgs I usually play with female because I like to lay my eyes on female body for the time I play the game 
). Pondering on this matter whether the reason is that mostly male players playing WoW or/and the certain apperance of female Dwarves and some Horde races I came up with some polls to determine the most used gender of characters and maybe whether it coresponds to the players' gender. Anyway I don't know if there is such tendecy for sure in the Horde (female Tauren and Trolls in particular) and/or on other Servers. To put the work done by Blizzard designing the female dwarf,tauren and trolls (see Collector's DVD) to good use I intend to start playing with either female Dwarf or Tauren.

I read somewhere that the Troll females looked so bad that they modified them during Beta.
Since I've been playing I don't recall ever fighting any Horde females in PvP. And there are not many dwarf females on the Alliance side. At least not that I've noticed in my realm.
I am female, and so are all my characters. At this point, after some line-up changes, they are all Horde also. I play orcs (hunter, warlock, and rogue), trolls (priest and warrior), undead (mage), and tauren (druid). I guess I just like that buff-and-green look.

Well I can tell that most of you want females be like those Lineage 2 females, especially female dwarfs who don't look anything like the male dwarfs. More like some SD manga characters, here take a look http://www.lineage2.com/images/knowledge/screenshots/sshotDwarf01.jpg
Now I'm not saying they are not appealing or anything, but do we really want the human/NE females to replace all the race females? If you play a dwarf, take a dwarven mentality and like that short and stout women, cos that is what dwarf men like, or how else you think there are so many dwarfs out there? Do they grow on trees?
Just embrace the world and let the little details go. And when I meet a female player with female char, I'm more interested in the player behind the char anyway, you people are sad.
Honestly, who here, guys, can't resist by making at least 1 chick Night-Elf? They are so sexy, you can make them dance whenever you want instead of asking someone in-game to do it for you, their stances when wielding a Two-Handed sword is just so freaking nice too... that's pretty much why NEVER flirt with a female Night-Elf without asking first... and even if they do respond positively to your flirt, I'd be scared anyways cause it's probably a gay guy that just wants some hot cyber action in the first place.
Bah, Blizzard allows us to make up to 10 alts on the same server. My main character is a Male paladin and I have a sexy Night-Elf chick Hunter. I just had to make one.
