i was thinking of coming back (played since release to CU and NGE)

so i have just a few questions:

1. how is the population on radiant server? (i see starstrider is the highest according to other posts)

2. in radiant the pop high enough for normal play (find group, enough people to buy stuff off you as crafter, make a city

3. same as 2, but for starstider server

4. spanish community? still on  radiant or moved to starstrider?

if answers are not possible, could someone please post this on the SOE forums and send me the link for me to check them out?

thanks

    Hi,

I can't answer your question about the radiant server, but what I can say is Starsider is the most populated server now. I'm about to move my toons there. I did a litle test at the weekend, being from the UK, at a non peak time, Starsider was at medium status.

Later on I found the three most populated servers were Starsider, Flurry & Farstar, Even when the city timers (GCW)  were on restuss was really active on as well at the same time, so plenty of pvp/pve going on.

    Hope that helps.

Well I've been on starsider for a long, long time. I've never ever ran into a spanish speaking group. So I doubt they are there.

Another thing to remember is Starsider is famous for Roleplay. It's the unofficial roleplay server, so keep that in mind when you go there. For some people, Mos Eisley cantina is a no go, purely because of activity in there.

While I do not play on Raidiant I do check the over all populations of the servers. Unfortunately Radiant seems to be in the lowest 4 for population. I see its population rating either at "very light" or "light" and have never seen it raise higher in the 15 months since my own return to swg.

That being said many people on the lower population servers maintain there is still enough people to play if you make the effort to look. I also believe the game has improved by leaps and bounds since the NGE was released, so much so that if the current game would have been the one that launched SWG would being doing more than well.

I play on Starsider (NA east coast) and the population is extremely healthly. It appears that both of the Europeans servers are also healthy along with Flurry (NA West Coast). I'd suggest you reroll on one of these servers and check out the current game, then decide whether to transfer your character, play your rerolled one, or if the game is even for you in its current state. Hope this helps.
