Developers =/= Publishers.
Just because it has "Square-Enix" on the damn ads, you expect it to be some kind of amazing Final Fantasy game.
A free online game. And it wasn't even developed by Square-Enix!
Also, it's in Open Beta. Give them a chance to fix things up. I didn't actually play in Open Beta, but I played a foreign version of the game. The controls aren't THAT 'clunky'.
For people who "Deleted after seeing the graphics",
typical for Square-Enix fanboys. Really your fault for not youtubing some game play videos.

No I accually played it and laughed for 25 min with a friend and then I uninstalled it.
25 min? lol that is not even a whole war. how can u judge the game when u need more than 25min to learn how to play it.... at least get through all the 3 letter quest in tutorial, and join 1 or 2 wars before u judge how good or bad this game is. the war get even more fun when u are in a corp and work as a team. but u need more than 25 min to learn the basic... so until u really have play the game. i would say ur option of the game is not really worth while.
just jumping into war without learning at least the basic, would make this game look like a normal pvp... but if u really play the game, even after a week of beta testing, i am still learning the different ways to win the 50v50 war/battle. there is more than one tactic to win in this game.

Funny thing is, Square-Enix shouldnt even be on any of the ads anywhere. in fact im surprised they get away with it and SE doesnt force them to stop or sue, or whatever the hell they can do. The game was Developed by Fenix, and published/hosted by SE for a short time until they cancelled it. Now its is being published/hosted by Gamepot. As far as i can tell SE has no involvement in the current version of FEZ, only Fenix and Gamepot, but yet Gamepot is going around toting the game as if it was made and run by SE.
agree on wrong using of square's name. but that is marketing. that is so much foul moves in marketing. i wouldnt hold that against the game itself. and as a publisher... i cant really say i hold it against gamepot for using a catchie name like square. its drawing attention, to a other-wise over look good game.
Ya got it wrong. It was developed by Multiterm, then bought by Fenix Soft ( which is owned by Square Enix). That's why they can and do put the name Square-Enix on it, since Fenix Soft ( aka Square Enix) holds the development rights.
No matter who owns it or should have their name on it....it still looks meh.
its not all about looks some times. if it is there would had been alot of great games out already.

lol... u forget to add in fat too ^^. but dont think that apply to games, i mean there is still tons of fans of FF3/6 and FF7. the graphic of those game is >< compare to now. i am sure those fan wouldnt say those game suck compare what they are playing right now.

This game is a SquareEnix MMORPG which has been out for years and years now. It's only now coming to the US. You can't expect the graphics to be top notch. -.-
that's right. You can't expect some kind of amazing final fantasy game because they messed all that up, too. Fenix Soft, or Square Enix, or as I like to say nowadays 'Squeenix' has reduced their game quality to that of a great Sega game.. which is par with any number of bargain bin blowout games. They suck. This is just another amazing example of how Square has gone down the gutter, rotted, been pissed on, nibble on by rodents, and excreted onto the carcass of their own self. They, like Sega, just don't know when to quit. FF14 has already had some huge complaints and it's just in alpha... final fantasy 11 was slow as mud, and the company didn't listen to a single one of the many complaints in feedback from people who are paying THEM money to play their dumpy games.
This Fantasy Earth Zero is just another way for them to fool you one more time into thinking Squeenix is as good as they used to be.
I just spend 4 hours... 4 HOURS trying to get FEZ to work after I DLed it. And just to find that it's another pedophillic anime game with a bunch of little half-dressed kids beating the hell out of each other for the sake of some poorly written storyline.

Square is a great company and everyone knows it. That's why the name sparkles. They are the creator of the greatest games in the history of gaming industry. final fantasy,seiken densutsu(mana series) and so on..
They are those who brought the genre called RPG to west. they are real programmers that design engines and experiment new ways and gameplay.
That company is a REAL game company. not just some stupid engine buyer who REMAKE the famous titles in hope of gaining a portion of success.
your are just some stupid man who bad mouths great builders and founders ... real creators of a great genre. you know nothing about games or rpgs .go play your simplistic FPS with an over and over used engine and gameplay and hope your simple mind doesn't EXPLODE.
