MO is a failure, This game should still be in the ALPHA stages
/agree It should be considered an alpha. Horses floating over the ground, people flying in the air, broken guard system killing grey animals in towns... and thats just what I found after playing for 5 minutes a few days ago...
meh i tried it.. couldnt even get the launcher to patch... said screw it...
sorry i refuse to play a game that requires me to manually fix the auto-patcher... as that is ONE of the simplest things to fix... i shouldnt have to dance the tango to just patch...
this game has great potential but is far from being final , I prefer to wait aybe a year before playing this game again , I tried the OB and tbh I was disapointed by the low amount of optimization that has been made on this game so far , the game mechanics are not all in place and most of them are not working as they should s far , I don't think its a ad game but it was obviously too early for an OB , let's hope they have enough money to take this project to a final stage . Until then I will keep looking for a new game to play
I've been mucking around in the OB for a while over the last week or so, when I don't have time for Darkfall. I really want MO to do well, because I see amazing potential there.....
BUT...
They are actually LAUNCHING the game this month. Launching. Seriously. The game is, as many have said, in ALPHA quality.
Anyone who doesn't see a total DISASTER coming is either a blind fanboi, or hasn't tried it yet. The launcher doesn't even have a file verification system, basic things such as descriptions, tooltips, and a working UI aren't even in place yet....people and creatures floating in the air, unbearable lag when more than 5 players are anywhere near you, desynching, NO speedtree 5 yet, and this is just a SHORT list of things that are lacking or wrong with the game.

1) Yes its still an alpha, anyone that disagrees has not beta tested many games in the past.
2) It will be a disaster, all the realistic people already know that, the fans do not want to admit it.
3) I thought speedtree 5 was suppose to be in the game in September... I completely forgot about that...
If you are serious / Interested in a game, I think playing an OB that is in a alpha state just so you can play it would be unwise. The average gamer will get burnt out and disappointed in the quality of the game being that it is in an alpha state.
Now if you are surious about testing and helping the Dev's create a quality product, Then by all means "go for it".
Just my thoughts on the matter.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
Im gonna give it a try. I lean toward the sandboxy games anyhow. If Funcom and Cryptic can get away with actually launching a game that many fans asked to put on-hold for more polish and bug fixes, maybe there'd be a better audience.
But since these devs, like Aventurine, are working through the challenges openly, It's worth a look, it seems.

It's not even close to finished... which is pathetic seeing as the game was meant to release last summer.
Yea, not sure what that was all about.
