Well, my Geforce XfX 8500 GT busted and now i'm stick with the onboard Nvidia 6100. I need a Geforce Card under 75$ atleast 512mb Video Ram, PCI Express 1.0. And it needs to run all the new games decently and any upcoming games. Thanks in ADvance.
Anarkii Out.

try to find a 8800 gt 512 mb ,i have one of those very tough and probably very cheap these days or go on best buy website,or
futur shop if your in canada, etc check for deal ,price wise use newegg.com or ca to see if price is fair!
newegg often have very good deal on all kind of card if you use 32 bit os,dont buy higher then 512 megabyte card
if you use 64 bit os then you can buy a 1000 mb graphic card its up to you!by the way never oc a graphic card and if you do always think about changing the cooling since nvidia and ati card assembler put the cheapest component you might have issue
best bet stick with big brand asus make graphic card for ati and nvidia if i recall .
stay with big brand!the more feature the better some might say its detail but at the end its detail that make you love or hate video card
if you go with nvidia go on nvidia site they should recommended specific company and often those recommended comany are recommended for a reason they go the extra mile and will ensure you have fun longer then crappy maker
ati have had lot of issue in the past with crappy assembler ,ended up with lot of fan issue on those graphic card!

how's this card?
The 9600GT and Radeon 4670 are the only 2 cards worth getting in that price range. 8800GT is more like $100 still (since it is a 9800GT). Don't waste money on a 1GB version but do make sure the RAM is DDR3 and not DDR2. This range of GPU's aren't fast enough to push the settings that would take more than 512MB VRAM.
The GT240 is the replacement for the 9600GT btw but it's a little slower, and generally more expensive, so weird part to buy.
can't find the DDR3 version of the card. But mostly i'll be plating EVE and counter strike, maybe some modern warfare 2 in the next month or so. Will the DDR2 Version of the 9500GT do the job? i mean the 8500GT i had ran EVE and Counter Strike with wonders it even ran Aion, AoC, and WAR without any problems. So i imagine the 9500GT could do better than the 8500GT. But then again i don't know too much about what the numbers mean at the beginning of the card's name lol.
I did find this card on the Nvidia website and on their chart it seems to be like two or threee times better than the 9500GT here's a link: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3749879&SRCCODE=SHOPPINGDF&cm_mmc_o=2mHCjCmtB55bETCjCVqHCjCdwwp
Ati >> Nvidia
There's NO logical reason to buy a nvidia graphics card RIGHT NOW.
They're behind ati in tearms of performance per money and Ati got DX 11 support.
Get over it fanboy, or wait till Nvidia releases the 400er series.
Just because i prefer Nvidia over ATI doesn't make me a fanboy i'm just more comfortable with an Nvidia. Get over yourself fanboy
I'm actually no fanboy, Nvidia had the better drivers, physx, cuda and soon tesselation.
But Atis recent 5000 series blows everything Nvidia has away, and YOU need to see that. Either buy an ati card or waste more money for less performance on an outdated Nvidia card.
And if you prefer either of those WITHOUT any reason, you ARE a fanboy.
Thanks anyways for contributing without any reasoning.
If you want the best value vs performance gfx card get the ATI 5770. Don't be fooled by the price and small Bit size . It's got as much muscle as a high end ATI card from the 4xxx dx10 series line that came out previous to ATI 's DX 11 cards which is more than enough to play your games and latest releases for next few years no problem. It's also got a much small power usage foot print, the GPU stays around 60 degree under load, instead of the normal 80 to 90 degrees normal for other graphic cards which leads to better stability. Few for sale already factory over clocked, but it stock clock hrz are already set pretty high.
There's no reason to stick with Nvidia now just because you've been comfy with them in the past, as a gamer you should go with what's best when you buy, and right now that's ATI. It's in your mind you think ATI less when in reality is far from it, you wouldn't regret your choice if you got a ATI 5770 or 5870 as your new card, this Nivida is always best is your own metla block, not reality. Both companies do good cards, but right now ATI inched ahead, unless you're willing to wait six months for Nviidia dx11 cards, which leaked reports from the labs shows it not ATI 5xxx series killer and Nvidia are in a bit of a panic to fix the issues causing poorer performance compared to ATI's 5xxx series cards.
okay i'll tell you what, you find me an ATI 5000 series card for less than 80 dollars with 512MB Video Ram, and PCI Express 1.0 Compatible and i'll give it a shot.
Sorry I meant for the 9600GT not 9500GT (which is DDR2 only). The 9600GT is much faster than the 9500GT and like $15 more, totally worth it.
As for 9500GT vs 8500GT I'd have to find a benchmark.. don't trust the card numbers. Nvidia's naming scheme is retarded, for all I know the 9500GT and 8500GT could be the same exact card because half their lineup is rebranded cards.

That would be either Ati 5450 (even with 1024 mb video ram) or 5570 or even 5670 though I don't know the prices for you in dollar, as I'm from Europe.
