This game needs guns

Hah. You have got to be kidding me. You control your own family and yet you have no weapons? What happens if a burglar breaks in? You cant afford your alarm system! He goes to your kids room and BANG!

If your child had a gun, he could shoot the burglar and everyone would be happy. Think of the +'s. What good household has no guns? I'll tell you, and then I'll send you a link to the Adam's Family Website. Yep, thats right. This game needs guns.

    Have you ever even stepped foot into TSO?

     

    First of all, there are no children characters, there are kids that play the game, but every sim is an adult.

    Second of all, you don't control your family, there are no families.

    Third of all, there are no burglars.

    I realize this post is a joke, har dee har har - but it's so incredibly devoid of facts. If you're going to critisize, please play TSO - even if it's only once to check it out. I've been playing for over a year now and I'm still as enthused about the game as I was day 1.

    She was right, there are no "families" there are no "weapons" and there is definetely not any burglars. If you're looking for a shoot 'em up game, this isn't the one, sorry.

    Yeah none of that stuff happens in SIMS, I admit tho that EA needs to make a COMPLETE simulation game, thatd be awesome, u can actually walk around town... anyway...

    Oh and you stole that "Hug the mr. pistol and it makes bad people go away" from Family  Guy, which u misquoted

    Hey, if your going to play an online game of house, you should have online burglars, and a handgun to control the family.

    See, in the offline Sims you control a whole family.  In the online Sims, you control just one Sim.  If you had to manage more than one person, you wouldn't have any time for things like visiting other people, socializing, and making money.  In fact, everyone would be so busy keeping their "family" from dying (and being burgaled if that was part of the game) that you would basically be playing a MMORPG by yourself.  Which, so we're all clear, defeats the purpose of the MMO part of that.

    Would you want to control a whole family in any of your kill-'em-all, slaughterhouse MMORPGs?

    Well Sims has betaville which you can have familys and the TSO has cannons thats a  weapon lol which you can  shoot at ppl when they arent paying attention image

    Not to mention, if someone really pisses you off, you can piledrive him into the ground, or make an enemy of him and rip his heart out of his chest and stomp it into the dirt!  Oh, and there's nothing more fun than waking up a roomful of inattentive sims by setting fire to the place, or you can target a specific sim and shoot him with your cannon! image

    This isnt "house" , there are a lot of goals to acheive in this game, you just have to set your mind to it. It's MUCH more difficult to achieve the ultimate in anything than in some fantasy or fighting MMORPG.

    If you're interested in that type of game play, perhaps you should get out of this forum.

    Oh, this thread made me laugh.. guns might be fun, but it wouuld get boring after a while. I vote for swords!! Wait.. we have swords... MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

    I was amused for days with my cannon, blowing up slow landers, afers that block things, and most of all I blew up all of my closest friends.  *evil laugh*   image

    the cannon is fun, I was once trapped in a lift and shot until my sim just couldn't pee anymore lol. And who can forget the who can die first contests in the pool?

    lol!  I roast parrots over open fires all the time!  But now that they have destructive fires in Betaville, I wonder what the effects would be!

    Well, now that they've decided to make Betaville a permanent city, I'm going to have to create some sims over there and try out my parrot-roasting theories with the real fire they have there!
