No, its on SV- Still.... Its their project, their game, their incompetence.... As someone pointed out, they are merely communicating with Epic Technical Support but Epic is not going to go through every line of code and fix their game for them.
Again, its never SV's fault... Ever.
Exactly... 100% correct...
100% wrong. The graphics engine is licensed from Epic. The netcode comes from Epic China who leases the Atlas addon for the Unreal engine. The problem is in the Atlas netcode. SV is working with them to solve the issues.
Personally, I think it's Epic China's fault for selling an MMO addon package that doesn't work. MO just happens to be one of the few games that's even tried to use this product.
I don't even care about defending SV's rep but it pisses me off when people go on a tirade who don't know their left from their right ball.

If this was 6 months ago you would be spot on.. however it is now 2 weeks from their promised and confirmed launch. It falls on the developer to have this issue fixed before now. Believe me... I am sure it's frustrating for them and part of it may even be out of their control, but its StarVault's project and it falls to them to have this fixed before they announce a release. The simple fact that they announce a release while this exists, and simply point a finger at Epic should tell you volumes about the company.

Originally posted by rlmccoy1987 Not true, they are licensing an engine from epic that was designed for FPS games on small maps (unreal tournament) How and why is it epic's fault? Starvault wanted to make a game using an engine that was not designed for a huge MMO. Blame it on Starvault, it is not epic's engine's fault.
Lineage 2, Exteel, Global Agenda, Laghaim, Last Chaos, Dust 514, Astronaut: Moon, Mars and Beyond (hey, mmo's arent rocket science), America's Army 3.0, DC Universe Online, Hessian, Project S, The Agency, Stargate Worlds (ok, a big maybe on this one), Crimecraft, All Points Bulletin
Chronicles of Spellborn, Vanguard, Ragnarok online
I don't know why anyone would think you could use the Unreal engine to build an MMO. Except of course the fact that they (Epic)designed it to do that....

Have you try to decrease your graphical settings?
Hmm....no. I will give that a shot. Thanks for the tip.
