yep this is one reason nvidia is ahead in my book.

driver !they release a driver every month on average and they do support their older card

i got an ati 5770 right now , i got to say i miss my nvidia support ,maybe ati will step up and support more but i dont think so

i had an old pentium 3 with an ati card back then and i had the same issue i have now with my ati  5770

driver and software .this is one very big strengh for a graphic card maker

no mather how powerfull card is if it doesnt support a wide array of game in the end its like a formula 1 in the center of new york

    not really useful

Well been testing the drivers out for anyone interested.

I do see an increase in Crysis Wars ( I play frequently and getting a few extra FPS)

Conan I can't tell if there is improvement or not yet. (comparing with some older fraps vids with the benchmarks on)

Hawx can't really tell if any change, seems just the same, but always ran well for me.

Biggest improvement I see is in Napolean - Total War in SLi seeing at least 10 FPS improvement than earlier on in week.

I ran 3D mark 06 and Vantage and seeing significantly poorer results due to this driver though than the last 2 iterations of drivers.

Oh and using Riva Tuner my fan is cycle on my 2 285's is always at 68% (manually set)
