My year-plan of gaming - What you think?

So I made a thread. About FE.. That it wasnt me.. after playing all night / day yesterday, I realized that I do not want to play FE, it doens't appeal to me.. 15 bucks out of the window ( or not really, I did see I didnt like it) so heres my current plan.
I was one of the few who actually falled from the trick and payed 12 month to AOC (Flame me if you want, but this is one of my few money-related failures, I have a few incl over 400 bucks etc. I got my lesson learned and from now on I really do think about everything, even if I to spent 1 cent.
So I come up with this... plan of mine. All i'm asking for, is a bit of feedback! What do you think about it? You think its a good plan? Its Year-based since most of the best releases, will come in a year.
My AOC subscription will end in about 2011 or so and plan is to play on and off.
thinking of just playing AOC on and off till The Secret World, FFXIV and SW:TOR and Earthrise.. And of course PS3 games mostly but id like a mmo to go to on and off a few times a week..
What you guys think about my plan? Like this:
- Install and play AOC on and off for about a year till new releases since the current released games are awful.
- Releases worth waiting for: Earthrise, SW:TOR,FFXIV, The Secret World, any suggestin of other good realeases, say so!
- Playing PS3 games (Come with some suggestins please! Currently: Uncharted 2 but soon to be completed. Alien VS Predator arrives next week, and I have Assassins Creed 2 aswell.
- Do you think this plan is a good plan? I can't think of anything else!
Help me! Just give me some feedback of my year-plan.. !

You can play AOC on and off, but I really didn't like it. PS3 games to play are Little Big Planet, Heavy Rain, Demon Souls...that's all I can think of atm. But XIV is coming for PS3 around the end of this year if everything goes as planned.

As I hear, Darkfall is way too hardcore-PVP orintated. And Id like to not pay if can, and use on PS3 games instead. But I dont know.. any other suggestins?

You could try Ryzom. There is some form of PvP but only downside of this game is small player base. Worth a try. It got 21 days free trial.
It sounds like a good plan to me. I used to play AOC, then I quit, but now I'm kinda interested in going back myself. The only flaw that I can see is maybe you should look into other PS3 games, unless you like multiplayer. I played through AvP casually in about 2-3 days so the single player is kinda short. Multiplayer there is fun though. I can't really recommend anything for PS3 though, seeing how I only have around 8-9 games myself. The ones that I have been playing lately are FFXIII and White Knight Chronicles, but that's about it

AoC is a solid game. Why not playing it?
I might do so, since I got playtime till new releases anyways. And then just play it pretty casually and PS3 on the side

Someone got hold of my aoc account info, when my Email was hacked, so its been taken and Funcom just banned the account permanently, and says they cannot rethrieve it, in anyway - thats nice 12months out of the window. Guess im not gonna play that game !

True it is a small player base, but the game encourages teamwork a lot more than most MMOs. I teamed more in 3 days in Ryzom than in 3 months of AoC. Even when in a big guild in AoC, it was so instanced, spread out, and level prohibitive that we didnt team up.

I just starting playing Warhammer Online again this week and I am enjoying it. Like most games it has a free trial so you can check it out. Seems much more polished than when I first tried it in 2008. The game is rumored to be dying but that should not be a problem if you are just looking for something to play casually. There is plenty going on on Volkmar.
So far.. My choice will be on Ryzom. I'm still reading up upon it , so suggestins or just info about Ryzom would be great

No other game on the market keeps me interested other than FFXI which I'll be playing till XIV comes out. If you haven't tried it I suggest you do. There is a 14 day trial, it is a lot different than all other mmo's but if you can only play a few hours a day I might not be the game for you. They deny to do anyhing to the account, and I payed ofr it in november, so.
FFXI I might try it out, but first i will try Ryzom.
since i heard FFXI are really hard to join now, as a new player. but i may try it : )
I'm playing Ryzom right now, and to be honest, its not the graphics, they are great man, i just.. It doesn't appeal to me somehow.
I dont fint it fun. I love sandbox, teampark is just plain awful which most games are atm, and the few sandbox aint going too good..
i don't find ryzom that good..

Try some of the f2p out there. Start with DDO, try Spellborn, etc. try EvE and some others with free trials

But is it even worth it? Most games I played, failed.
And from what other people tell me, theres no mmo right now. Just waiting for new releases like Secret World, FFXIV;SW:TOR or TERA...
My advice:
Make a list of PS3 games you're interested in
Go on ebay and buy them as used PS3 games
Play one at a time, finish it and go to next
When you wanna play something on PC play <insert mmo of ur choice>
I do this with Xbox360 and PS3 and Warhammer, works like a charm !
I now have 153 Xbox games and around 20 PS3 !
Then give some classic games that you missed a spin:

or you can download emulators and play some of the Classis NES, SNES, Gameboy, Genesis, Playsation, N64, PSX, MAME, etc on emulators. SNES9x and Nesticle are prestty awesome emulators and the games are easily found. I believe another poster recommended this.

I will defently do that.. Since everyone is right: There ARE no good mmo at the momment, worth investing most of your time with. So better wait for releases and do some console + maybe a mmo on / off. Thank you!
