I was wondering about water... it seems that in Underlight's engine dreamers kind of sink like a rock. I know its a dream but I think (Lyra probably already though of this but I figured I'd ask) there should be swimming. Because its a dream I don't think you should be able to drown.
There could even be an art or a feat that makes you swim faster and maybe see better underwater.
Should we be able to fire chakrams underwater? I'm inclined to say yeah but maybe they should move a little slower. What do you guys think?
Then i started to think, "Hmm, what about ice?"
If there is ice or other slick surfaces I think it would be cool if they affected your movement. You would kind of slide as you move on it (kind of like that ramp as you enter lower guk in EQ). You can still direct where you want to go but there would be a little bit of a delay to it.
It would also be really cool if you could actually melt ice or freeze water (maybe trapping a swimming dreamer in ice or dropping a dreamer walking on ice into water).
This opens up possibilities to all sorts of surfaces like marble and gravel and... eh, who knows?

Oh yeah I forgot
Mud- mud or muck or quicksand would make it very difficult or maybe just a little difficult for a dreamer to move quickly... maybe Free Action could counteract this.
I'm all for being able to swim.

If I was a level designer for this game and they had swimming. I would HAVE to make an entirely underwater zone, on matter of principle! Who says dreamers have to breathe air?
Imagine the elaborate 3dimensional battles in a vast undewater cavern!

Yeah! Definitely! That would add a whole new perspective to the game, we could even have water-based nightmares!
