aion is realy the best mmorpg i have played sofar.
lvl 26 now still alot to do list full with quests.
i now evrione says after lvl 30 will be a grind but i dont care. cus the patch (i think next month) will fix that with alot of new quests and stuff to do.
i think evrione gave up to early. this game is still far from death and very populated.
my questin is will try aion again after the new patch goes live?

I definitely won't be trying it after the patch. They haven't added anything to make me want to come back. I do like what they added, but it's not enough. I have a feeling I will be bored at end game just like before.
Glad you like it. I think it's pretty good myself. I do think that they will need to tweak some end game things but all in all these games are what you make of them.

Gave up too early? You must be joking. Aion had been out in Asia a year before it was released in the west, and that should have been more than enough time to tweak quests and grinding. It is nothing more than a polished turd. Last time I buy an Asian produced game.
To be honest it is my favorite MMO to date and won't be quitting for a while. It's got potential just needs more people in it to think that and more support in the west. We have barely any community managers or writers for it, most news comes from fans who work hard at translating news from Chinese or Korean fansites. It's rather depressing atm but it will get better in time, even WoW wasn't perfect at the beginning so... yea...
Keep on leveling and have fun, there's tons of content if you don't stick to simply instance runs which is what most people seem to do. Look around, explore, go back to previous areas and new quests might pop up. I'm lv.38 and my quest journal is always stuck at 30/30 quests and I have a hard time doing them. I also suggest joining a good legion, when you find one that's willing to help out at all times, that's when the game gets really awesome.
bored at end game?
since im lvl 50 i cant stop play that game because of the amount of dungeons, innies, siege battles, pvp etc.

Im having a lot of fun in Aion with both my level 50 cleric and 48 ranger. IMO much of my enjoyment comes from my Legion and the people I play with where like any MMO it helps to be in a good guild with a clue. My primary focus in the game is and always will be PvP and I get that daily with solid groups of people who basically own. I couldnt imagine having as much fun with it if I wasnt in this guild but that was the same for me in WOW, WAR and other MMO's.
Aion's a decent enough game, but best ever OP? You need to try a few more I think.

No. But I don't see the reason I don't like Aion thrown around too much. I can't stand how little there is to customize powers. Almost everyone I saw used not only the same chains, but the same armor, weapon stones, etc. I like being unique in a game, and interestingly, NCsoft has one of the games, CoX, with the best character customization not just in terms of appearance but powers. Yes, still class-based but in fact you NEVER find a toon built the same way in CoX. I've never even seen as much diversity in a classless game.
But there are pros and cons. PvP can be so rock paper scissors when you can carve out niches as tight as CoX.

Ive said to myself that I must at least level one level (1-30) every day. So its a must. And the game is not fun for me in other words. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.,

i enjoyed the game alot for a good while there, its sad to say but probably lasted longer in Aion than any recent MMOs wich was about 5 months.but if you count the time i played on the Korean,Chinese and NA servers i probably played about a year total wich is very good now a days wich is deffintitly getting my money's worth, i still have an active account for now. but i barely played it at all this month. I think i'll cancel after i get the 6 month vet rewards wich is teh level 40 wings, i get them on the 23rd and the account runs out on April first.
waiting for the wings because honestly they just need to add more things to do in game. it just needs more things to do is all to be more fun, i like the pvp but it got boring for me after awhile. once they do that i'll come back and i'm sure i'll have fun again.
I just came back since my free month when it first came out. It is highly enjoyable now, a lot less bots and spammers, and it feels like they added some quests. All in all very fun game for me again. Not the best MMORPG IMO but one of the better ones.
prettiest maybe.
definately not the best. too linear, too grindy, too imbalanced pvp wise. it's a cool game, in a very pretty world with cool flying combat and some interesting mechanics but not the best mmo out there.
People who say it's a grind after such and such a lev, probably don't know how to push the W button to make their character move forward to explore a map. I alway have a full log of them and either have to drop some to pick up more or just leave some until I finished others. At lev 41 I have about 60 quests, I would say, between campaign quests and quests you pick up along the way. Sometimes it has been hard to get a group on my Oceanic server, to finish some of the harder quests, but I have never had a lack of them.
Glad you like it. I think it's pretty good myself. I do think that they will need to tweak some end game things but all in all these games are what you make of them.
This is the truth if it were ever told! The games is great but really its the people that make it an expericence. I enjoy Aion just like I enjoyed WOW. I think people make the game its only a tool for your enjoyment.
dont think the asians complained as much as the westerners did either when it came down to grinding. (again i dont think so) if they did then I stand corrected
I really am glad you enjoy it, but I find the game a total bore.
The character customization as far as skills and abilities go, is non existant, and the grinding is completely unimaginative.
My wife and I played it for one month and found ourselves just not wanting to bother logging in anymore due to the boredom. Not to mention the screwed up armor that makes you look like a cross dresser.
The people we met in the game were mostly non social and had no interest in roleplaying in any way.
The St. Patricks day event they had was pointless since the largest guild won all of the loot that was given out.
Overall I think the game is pretty horrible. I have played all of the big MMO's and a few small ones, and this one ranks really low on the list.
The problem is that companies are now pumping out MMO's so fast without a care for a true quality product, they just want to get a piece of that MMO money before the whole genre becomes a thing of the past. This in turn is spreading every game thin on people.
Now, lets 1st drop all of the SPY quests which are worthless unless you are a stealther
Then remove all Campaign quests that no one bothers to do unless the loot drops are great.
Then take out the group based normal quests that no one bothers to do unless the loot drops are great.
And what are you left with, not a whole heck of a lot I assure you, especially once you hit the 30's.
And no, if you have to run an dungeon more than once, you've done it too many times. I hate running dungeons over and over, just not my style of gaming.

Heyy, I play aion in the EU server and im enjoying it, i play since 1st Beta test.
Aion is a very good game with lots of things to do, and it have lots of potential for future updats.
Aion is a korean game , so it is focused in the grind and pve, i must have time to play it, u dont go 1-50 lvl in 1 month, u have to spend time ingame. Im enjoying it and new update will improve many lots of good thing for ES/NA players. But is true, NCSoft need to care about us (EU/NA players).
PS: sry my bad ing
I had no issue soloing most spy quests as a Templar, and the ones I couldn't I did in small groups. Some give nice titles, such as the earliest attack speed title you can get. They're relatively quick and create fun pvp scenarios. Also at 41 or 43 depending on your faction you get spy quests for a gold weapon. There's no reason to not do these.
Not do campaigns? Do you even play this game? Everybody wants to complete EVERY campaign because it's required for Miragent/Fenris! Yeah, you know that awesome armor set at 50 that everybody talks about? You can't even start working on it if you refuse to do even one campaign quest. Yeah, it sure makes a lot of sense to skip those.
Group based normal quests, lmao. Not only a lot of the time are they in areas where there are named monsters that can drop blues/golds, so the loot drops generally *are* great although not with the related quest monsters in particular, but the exp is great and it's not grinding. I did almost every group quest and had little issue in doing so. When I was doing Mist Mane there was easily 5-6 other groups there any time I went, so it's not as if this was some uncommon feat.
But yes, go figure. Once you remove over half the quests in the game you end up running out of them. But if you'd rather grind than actually do quests provided to you, that's your own damn problem.
