The Spring Festival event is once again upon us in Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online. Players who login can look forward to many in-season activities including the Feast of the Greenfields, the Shire's Hedge Maze, the Stomp-a-Shrew minigame, as well as special decorations & costumes, and Ale Association quests.

To get you pumped for the festivities we've got a batch of new screenshots showing off the Spring Festival celebrations, check them out in our LOTRO gallery.

Well, some of us enjoy this little break from killing..not to mention if we have houses, the new decorations, etc.. May be pretty much the same ole stuff, but a very welcome break to those of us who enjoy the festivities! Not all parts of a game are fun for all, I suppose. But..for some of us, this is great fun!!

I like the festivals. Even when I'm in LOTRO burnout, like I am currently, I always sign on to do the festivals.

Someone pointed at the European official forums pointed out that the Spring Festival contains more content and more things to do than the last "content patch".

Quite cynical, but somehow i find myself in sad agreement.
