Newborn on Agon [NEW] is a clan on the North American server that was formed to aid the new player experience. The NEW goal is to grow the game of Darkfall, and we are happy that you have taken your first steps into the most intense MMORPG currently on the market.
The website is newbornonagon.guildplex.com/. Even if you choose not to join NEW, the website provides helpful links and training videos. Ask a question, introduce yourself, or look up the list of Counselors and Supporters to talk to in-game about how to do well in Darkfall.

This clan is supported by almost all the major clans and alliances, but is 100% neutral in all actions. So if you are just joining Darkfall Online and want a chance to learn the game and get acclimated to a different type of gaming, you have come to the right place.

* We do not roleplay - although there is no rule against it either.
* We do not form alliances, or take part in any wars with other guilds.
We offer a wide variety of help to newcomers, including things like:

* Weapons
* Tools
* Information about Dakfall
* Ways to make gold in Darkfall
* Information about the various guilds
* Training assistance and techniques
* An introduction to the Agon community

If you are interested in joining, simply go to the forums on this site, read the rules and follow the directions on the forums to apply in-game. Directions are on the forums. No application is refused but all members are limited to 30 days in the guild. After 30 days, we hope you enjoyed your NEW Darkfall experience enough and met some friends along the way. There is probably a clan somewhere just for you!
We offer help for all templates, and all play styles. It doesn't matter if you want to be a player killer, a crafter, a gold farmer, or a murderous dictator with an army of minions at your beck and call - we can help start you on your way!

Is that the legit NEW? Their page seems a bit odd, and it keeps trying to load something onto your system when you go to any of the pages (using Chrome)
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

It is the legit NEW. I'm using FireFox and I have no issue with the website by the way. Suggest you try with a different browser.
Everyone new to darkfall should probably join NEW.
Then join the zerg, and level up your character in the safety of numbers.
Then look for a clan you want to be with or make your own/go solo.
I suggest all new players also join new. Sucks though you get booted after 30 days but it is designed to get you on your feet.
Your thread title looks like you are giving 30 days trials to the game.
You may want to change that.
You could say it's somewhat similar to a Trial. You can only stay in NEW for 30 days after which you are kicked out of the Clan.
I gotta say, Darkfall never looked like something that would appeal to me. I think particularly, the vernacular of community and it's more vocal members' emphasis on PvP and "Hardcore" is what deters me.
I watched those Accelerated Character Development guides, and it's peaked my interest. It shows off the depth that seems to be available without being overwhelming, and gets people familiar with it.

you see i have a guy im going to dele and id love it if NEW on NA-1 if you can give all of my gold items and mount weps to my new guy im makeing
and no one i know in RL plays darkfall online and im not sure if someone will just take it so it all comes to NEW alot of guys say you help new guy out and im kind new i played for a week on a laptop and the laptop stop working and now im saveing up 1300 for a gameing pc just to play this and id love it if you guys will not take my items and help me out
