"Mourning" when I wanted to find Mortal Online in the game list.
Honestly, no clue why I did that. My best guess is that as I was around for the Mourning debacle I sub-consciously expect this game to be more of the same.
What do you guys think, am I way of mark?

For the few who actually remember Mourning -- I think this game is basically a mirror of almost every situation that game went through.
The sad thing is, people don't learn right away. They have to get smacked in the face with a frying pan multiple times before they do.
No, I don't think so. Although Mourning was more of a deliberate scam. MO isn't a scam, it's just being ruined by incompetence. Like Alganon.
Yeah I dont think this game is a scam either, it is just such a big mess. Ridden with bugs, performance issues and major lack of content.
Some people I just dont realise how much work it takes to produce an MMOG so they bite of a bigger bite than they can chew.

I can see where you might draw similarity to mourning. However mourning was a straight up scam. As in they took the money and ran. So far MO at least has a product to offer, it's more akin to dark and light. However at least they aren't plastering their name everywhere, making players think this is the next big AAA mmo coming out.

I really dont think its the amount of work but rather them just diving right in with no plan and trying to to wing it.
Making an MMO is like getting into cold pool water.. Only idiots dive in head first.
