Tired of point and click

SamzagasSamzagas Member UncommonPosts: 22

Hello,

I've been a mmo gamer ever since I have internet on my house, and I've seen the evolution of the mmos and, of course, I've tried almost every game on the market. Nevertheless, I've grow tired of the point and click system, it just bores me, as it presents no challenge, you just click and spam skills/spells at your enemy.

Therefore, I'm looking for a mmo out there that isn't point and click, something that actually challenges the player.

Some guidelines:

1.- Please don't fill the thread with just popular mmos, I've probably already played them.

2.-F2P if possible, I don't spend much time playing, hence I hardly find a P2P game worth my money.

3.-No FPS, I don't like playing games without a story, neither games in witch you are better depending on how you exploit the system's bugs and errors.

There will be a few games you might be interested in, but most of them are at best in closed beta stages.

for example: Tera, Continent of 9 and some more.

Well, Tera seems like a nice game, but it's P2P and it seems like I still have to wait a long time before I can try it.

On the other hand, Continent of 9, didn't really catch my eye.

I was going to Say Spellborne myself, but it isn't really F2P. Sure you can play as long as you want but you have to Sub to it to get access to the rest of the game (unless they changed that since I lasted looked)

I must say that I've splayed Spellborn, it's a nice game with a promising future, the only defect is that right now it's "stuck", hence there has not been any update nor new content for quiet a while now.

Don't take me wrong, it is fun, but there's nothing new to do with a character after a given point.

Saga, it's somewhat P2P but get a free trial account which never expired unless you haven't logged on in months I think. You can build an army and do 2-man co-ops or up to 4 man PvP battles. You can play by yourself of course in quests but it's not really fun without someone having your back. Like I said, optional fee if you want a full account but as long as you play, yu can play for free on a unlimited trial.

I've played DDO:U, but it's not nearly as fun as playing real D&D with my friends. As a MMO, DDO was cut short of several amazing things about the game, and focused on the dungeons only, witch is the most common play style, but I enjoy a more complex system, in witch I have to do more than just kill.

I've alto taken a look at SAGA, but it's just not my cup of tea, thanks anyway.
