Anyone know of any good 2D mmorpgs out there?

I'm looking for a good online multiplayer 2D adventure/rpg that still has a strong community.

It really must be 2D or quite basic 3D (such as runescape) because my computer is a pile of orc dung.

I've tried ragnarok which I thought was good but destroyed by the annoying traders.  I've also tried graarl which seems to be a dead game.

    hmmm... try out conquer. It's pretty basic, but it should work on any pc. www.conqueronline.com I think the link is. It's free to download.

    image Out of all the 2d games the 1 that i know to have the most features and better all around is Ultima Online. I have never played it and im not a fan of it, but from all the info i have learned about it it seems best. (warning its 10 years ols)

    Can someone please make me a sig. I would like it to have something to do with an eagle(the bird) Somewhere near the eagle can you put the words "Global Defense Initiative". Could you also have the line "If you can't buff up, don't step up!". Thanks!

    Yeah. Ultima Online even gives most 3D MMOs a run for their money; Up against only 2D ones, well, it's the undesputed champion of the world.

    The original Lineage has a huge following, but for my money Ultima Online is king of 2D and a master champion of any MMOG. In fact, I'm playing it right now.
