I'll say this for the last time, If your looking for something good that's free it's not going to happen. Your either going to have to pay for something good or play some crap thats free and save a couple bucks. If you want to pay i could name a list of good games.

Actually the games that i know of i haven't actually played but heard their good (EQ,DAoC,RO) But if you want a free game you could just try out betas.

if your looking for free, then all your going to get is the free trials and bunch of retarded games that actually are free cuz they suck so bad. Look man, it isn't hard to come up with 13 bucks a month for a GOOD MMORPG. Just try it.

I'll pay for a MMORPG i just want to have a free trial for it or something so i dont have to pay money for something i don't like. I did the free trial for SWG but i still had to pay 50 bucks which is a rip off. Does DAoC have anything free before you buy?

the great thing with DAoC is the game is 20$ bucks, that's not gonna hurt your pocket. And the first month is free. Or you could just try getting into a beta test of one of the games currently being developed, but really... the monthly subscription for most mmorpg's is less than a sheet pizza and a coke ...

For all of its short comings and simpleness, i often find myself missing the chaotic fast paced combat of Helbreath

I heard DAoC is only fun when you get to level 50 (which is probably going to take months) and i will most likely stop playing when WoW,EQII,Lineage2 or Horizons comes out. So im looking for something fun from the start.

i don't know, at least for me, getting to 50 meant i made a new avatar. i thought the fun was in the leveling/grouping ... but as for fun from the beginning, i don't think there's very many mmorpgs that are fun right off the bat.

IF your looking for a free mmorpg then check out www.runescape.com its got members and free, try free first and see if you like it. The graphics are bad, but the gameplay is long and good. There getting 3D update soon. Don't laught at me the game is crap but it might be good for those of you out there with less money for expensive pentium 4's.
