eheh heh... won't you all be glad to know the game is up again... lol... The reason it was "cancelled" was that we sat down (the 4 of us) and had one long discussion about the game, price, servers, graphics, who was slacking, who was doing well, and much more... it ended up to be a lot more of yelling and screaming and people insulting each other... In the end, the graphic artist said F this I don't need this and walked out. The rest of us, continued fighting... Anyway, in the end 4 hot heads decided that we couldn't possibly get along and that we should end the game. So... we did... the homepage announced the closing of the game the next morning. A week or so later, all being friends, we decided to sit down and go out for lunch and we all talked, and apologized and we ended up decicing that we would continue the game (even if there was only 1 response to the poll.) So, we announced the game being re-started on the website. We then went in seclusion (sorry! for not updating the site!!) working to decide things for the game, again. this time it went a little better... However a few weeks later someone got into our site and posted some offensive stuff, (we found out the IP and banned it) but one thing they posted was that the game closed again, IT DID NOT!!! Anyway, after deciding to update, finally, I saw that the site had been hacked into and the whole site was a mess, the forums were spammed, topics were locked, etc. (We signed up with the same usename and password on every site so we could easily remember it.... bad idea!) So anyway, now we are behind yet again trying to delete and re-do the website. And be assured that the site is now 100% safe! And the game is 100% planned to be early open alpha soon!

1.) Greatness- Yes we had the game nearly finished for an early alpha test release. As for time, its been time. Anyone who has been keeping up on the game will know that it has been over a year that the game was in development.
2.) rentantilus- You hit the nail on the head! I don't know about high fantasy (Could you explain what that is?) but the game has all the other things you mentioned. Anime-style? No. The game will NOT be anime style. The characters will have proportioned heads on their bodies. There will be too much stuff to mention here, keep checking the website. Someone figured out the password to our free hosting site and ruined the site so we have to re-do the site now because they posted nasty things, pictures, and just generally wreaked havoc. But if anyone is interested I can post again here when we get the site up. A quick list of features (that are implemented already...):
1.) An introduction! I won't give away the story but the first time you log-in you'll go through a tutorial-scene setting the stage intro. (All skippable for you restless people!)
2.) (Pre-determined) amount of land that you get. You can sell it or farm, or build a house! (So far... you can only sell it ...)
3.) Many unique ideas that I won't post yet... I'll just say that I ensure that there will be a history to this game, people can say... "Remember last -insert date- when -insert happening- happenend?"
4.) A unique time system that runs on 4 quarters to a day -Morning, Noon, Evening, Night and 4 quarters to each hour. (Sound confusing? It won't be when its ironed out...)
5.) Status- Someone rip you off? Label them a rip-off for life with the unique 'Opinion' meter.
OUR MOST UNIQUE IDEA THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE VERY APPROVING OF... (except newbies)
6.) Newb Patrol- ANYONE who's account is under 2 months that is caught swearing, scamming, etc. can be immediatly frozen by any player who's account is over 2 months. However, false reports will result in the reporting account being frozen. We will investigate the matter and then it is deleted, each IP address can only sign up three times and then their IP is banned from the game! This way good usernames aren't taken up by inactive users. Also any account that is inactive for 1 year is deleted.)
-Generally, why not much is mentioned about the game is because we want it to attract the pure RPG-ers and try and keep away newbie online gamers who are more likely to break the rules. Though we will have moderators, we'd prefer to not HAVE to have them there. Since we are a small team we want to be dedicated to updating and adding content to the game, not 'babysitting'. (This fact will be what will make many people not want to play the game but we're sorry this is how we feel.) Most of you mentioned, "What is Moon Guardians Online," and "Never heard of it," that makes us feel like we're doing our job. The game is still in early stages so we don't want to advertize something thats not even playable yet. The reason for this post was sort of a MMORPG.com exclusive. We agreed that mostly veteran gamers would be here and would try the game and be able to tell us better what is bad and what is good than new gamers who have never played an online game before and just spam out forums asking for horses.-
