Can someone plz help me?? Vanguard will not launch

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes


I recently downloaded canguard saga of heroes. Well it downloaded and updated and when i clicked on the launch button, the page disappears and it doesnt launch can someone plz help me? or atleast give me some ides/ i would really appreciate it!

    your video card drivers may be too up to date, at least that is what I've been told, as I cannot play it either, and


    I had been for AWHILE.  I updated my card drivers and it hasn't worked since.

    1. Make sure Station Launcher and Vanguard executable are set to run as administrator, no Station games will launch unless Launcher is set to run as admin.


    2. Update DirectX

    I got same problem solved by installing DX9:

    make sure directx is uptodate (lot of game needed older code that were updated only last month !


    i had the same issue!


    also you might need to run explorer as administrator if you downloaded the game !(no adm means lot of file not downloaded!

    Go to the directory:

    C:Program Files (x86)SonyVanguard

    There should be a file called vgclient.log.  This is a log file of what happens each time you start up vanguard.

    Sometimes this file will tell you exactly what is wrong, or sometime it will merely telll you the last thing it was doing before it crashed.
