I don't think the visuals are THAT great, but it certainly looks good. The music is indeed nice. Looking forward to this one. I do hope they kind of make an action MMORPG instead of the old skill-bar system.
aye, but the explicit game name "Fantasy of Asia" gives me a sense that asian governments help with funding this game :P which is a good thing for gamers ^^
and for an MMO, the graphics look insane xD at least in my opinion. compare it to the graphics of other MMO"s
Eh, someone else in the comments section on GameTrailers said it better than me:
"Is this World of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans Bangkok Funtime?"
Graphics were okay, but not "insane". Not by a long shot. Music was nice, but plenty of games have nice music. Then again, I'm kind of biased against Asian-style MMOs (read: I can't stand 'em), so I may be missing something. Here, to balance it out a bit, I'll admit that I did like the shadow-sword attack that one guy did, and the girl's "pretty flower petals of bloody carnage!!!" attack.
mm i like the anime style of asian but lets face it see one piece or bleach or fairy tail and men when you see the game with that style something is lost its not as nice its not as funy and often the graphic that were goodf in the serie arent so nice i the game
true i have to agree the biggest issue with ALMOST ALL GAME are 3 fold:
gamma setting
contrast setting
brightness setting
i didnt believe it made a huge impact until i saw warhammer way of doing it men
im sorry but all game should copy war way of setting those 3 insanelly important tweak!
those graphics were far from amazing. They tried to hide it with their camera shots but if you look at the textures of everything else in the world they are surprisingly undetailed for this day and age. I think you'll find if you get in game on this that the graphics will be pretty unimpressive.
It did also have some of WoW's style which took away from it even more.

How do you know? The trailer tells us next to nothing about the game.
My first impression after watching that was "That looks incredibly boring". A lot to read out of a trailer that shows no gameplay whatsoever, I know. It's just that the environment looks like non-interactive pretty backgrounds, and the areas look ilnear. No amount of high-detail character models and sparkly combat effects can make up for that. I'm probably not in the the target audience at all, though, so ignore me. I just got lured in by the title, and expected to see something impressive

The lighting effects and whatnot are better, but the textures are misleading; they're pretty low-res. The world has a slightly cartoony feel, though not blatant like WoW. When Blizzard revamps Azeroth and (hopefully) improves the graphics engine like they did for Northrend, it should look more similar to this game. Point is, its graphics aren't really that great.
Almost all of this trailer is CG video, the few shots that looked like they could be in game had the same low quality textures that all the asian grinders have, with bloom cranked up, that's all. Nothing special at all about these graphics, sorry.

What CG? It all looked like typical mediocre game engine footage to me.

It's just a trailer and trailers pretty much always look good. Aion, for example, used the game's engine to create many of their trailers but the video was edited to create epic animations (eg; acrobatic dodging of arrows while in the air) that's not a part of the game.
Don't trust a trailer. Wait for actual game play, preferably by beta testers.
Zero bump/normal mapping. All the texture detail was flat.
I'd actually say the graphics were great for the limits they seemed to have imposed. They took no advantage of CE2 outside of it's ability to render in volume. Prolific use of post processing to doll up things with bloom. Stencil shadows made solid cut outs. Texture resolution seemed relatively small, maybe 512 and 768. Plenty of particle effects though.
Another step in the same style that's been used forever.
I don't see any problem in not using modern graphical enhancements to make your game look all spiffed up. Especially for such a large market like asia where the hardware range is so vast. It offers differences in balance. This game may offer better overall model and 3D quality than perhaps Aion, possibly getting rid of some of those less pretty jagged landscapes and occasional peculiarities, but it definitely won't have the same kind of shine or polish to the material types and textures.
This is also in assumption the game's design is also set to take more advantage of players operating en masse compared to Aion, which still can pack a pretty good number in.
All in all it just seems to be an asian market oriented game from tip to stern. Not a bad thing if that in fact is your thing. Just means you might want to look more into it if you're a western market oriented individual.

Not bad hope it has a decent character customization or like perfect world one

Looks good. It's published Hangames,so little chance we'll have it here any time soon I hope Hangames will first bring C9 to the Western market
Same shit like the rest of the Asian grindfest MMO, do they all use the same combat animation on all these games?
If it's not broken, you are not innovating.

Think it looks great, I will sure keep my eyes on this one. Thanks OP

Beautiful graphics, but I can't imagine running the game at max settings like that =P.

Kind of tired of the Asian crap. =/ Always so cliche, predictable..

Seeing as it's the CryEngine 2 - we all know how awesome the visuals in game are. But for this game using the CE2, the graphics were mediocre.
Looks interesting, but I am not sure it looks much like an mmo, more like Fable or somthing perhaps?

Hell, I know nothing about it so I shouldn't judge.
Blinking contest... NOW!
looks okay, but not like something I would play
WoW with teriyaki sauce.
Looks like one of those grind-for-gear based games where everyone stands around the
main hubs showing off their kit. ~yawn~
