It's not so long ago I stumbled upon a thread discussing the little servant girls you can have in Aika, who say ambiguous things to their masters. Well, now I found this ad while surfing. Okay, it's not that bad and we've seen these before, but c'mon... I don't know much about Allods, but I don't think it offers pornographic content. This ad is completely misleading and very cheap way to try to sell a game, as far as I'm concerned. I love games and have played them for long time and it saddens me that this is happening to gaming industry as well. Make things faster, with less money and add porn and brutality so it sells. Oh well, I don't have any important message to deliver with this post, just saying. Being the bitter me as usual.

Yea well Allods seems to be actively TRYING to fufill EVERY bad impression people have of cash shop games so this dosen't surprise me. Have you seen the Evony adds? Just as bad. Seen the Atlantica adds? More of the same......

I hate to point out the obvious but its a free to play game, their not selling anyway, and in terms of design and gameplay its the best out there and on par and better than WoW in terms of the game engine. and graphics.
Its major malfunction is that its an item mall game.
They work.
That's why they use those adverts.

I'll continue to keep an eye open for it (and about a dozen other games) but believe me I don't play video games for the riding. I play them to relax after riding.

I'm tired of Disney mmo's. Bring on the sex, gore and whatever else would reflect a real mid evil world. It's not up to the gaming industry to raise people's kids. That's the parents job. If they don't want their kid playing then they need to monitor their kids computer time better. I have 3 kids and I keep up with everything they do online. Is it a pain in the ass sometimes? yes Is it impossible? no .. Would dad love an adult mmorpg to play once the kids go to bed? yes!!!! yes!!
Don't get me wrong here, I don't sex and gore just for the sake of sex and gore, but in context with the world. The midevil / fanstasy world should be far from PG rated...imo It's simply not realistic.
I can confess that I watch splatter movies and HC pornography, but my point is that this ad is misleading and shameless marketing. Evony apparently does it better, but I didn't realize it's a game ad before. Well, I predict short life span for this thread now.
