in Final Fantasy XI

Heya everyone..

After a long decision I decided to go back to FFXI as all other MMO's feel samey these days..

I brought the ultimate collection on steam as it was cheaper than buying the expansions I am missing alone as i only have the old euro launch box..

I don't care about haveing to start again but I am wondering if the server allocation is still random or can you choose now?

My RL friend is still on Fenrir server or does anyone recomend anyone recomend a good server that has plenty of active players.. 

 

Was thinking about doing Mithra/WHM to start again as i never play healer class and feel like a change..

    Click on my Siggy and be whisked away to our LS forums, we are based on Fenrir and are active.  At a rough count, there are at least 15 of us off n' on daily...and we try to do as much together and help as possible!

    I'm returning to FFXI as well, but I already have a 65whm.. and its on Asura. I see you guys posting all the time on here, so I know that means your active.. but.. In order to be on your server I'd either have to reroll brand new, or transfer... how terrible is starting all the way over?

    Really not as bad as it would seem if you're only playing for the sheer fact of playing to enjoy the journey once again while awaiting FFXIV.  If you're only playing to get to end-game as quickly as possible and only do that, then it may seem daunting to get that far from scratch.

     

    Might as well come join us, I'm on frequently as are many others that can help with all the low end events that require help so you can progress at a steady pace!

    Starting again is not so bad..

    I seem to have found a new found love for the game when before I found it more of a chore than a game

    This LS seem to be a good bunch so give it a try..
